Welcome to SPLURT!

Get ready to have a blast with SPLURT!, a game that rewards you for all those random facts you’ve stored away. All that knowledge may finally come in handy! In SPLURT!, the objective is simple: be the first to give the correct answer when presented with two cards that have random criteria. If you get it right, you get to keep the card. It’s as easy as that!

Think you have what it takes to come up with cities, animals, and fun facts in the blink of an eye? There’s only one way to find out – let’s play SPLURT!

Getting Set Up

Before we get started, grab a deck of SPLURT! cards and remove anywhere between twenty to forty of them, depending on how long you want the game to last. For a quicker game, use fewer cards. Set the rest of the cards aside for now.

Alright, let’s get this game started! We need to shuffle the deck and make sure all the cards are facing the same way. Put the deck in the center of the playing area with the pink side facing up. Now we’re ready to go!

How to Play

Take the top card from the Splurt! Deck and flip it over. The black side of the card will show a category, and the pink side will give you the criteria for your answer. You have to come up with an answer that fits both the category and the criteria on the card.

The first player to shout out a correct answer gets to keep the black card. Then we flip over the next card to start a new round. We keep playing like this until we run out of cards in the deck. When that happens, we count up our cards to see who has the most. The player with the most cards wins!

End of the Game

The game ends when there’s only one card left in the deck. The player who collected the most cards is the winner! If there’s a tie, we can play one more round as a tie breaker.
