So here’s how we set up the game: just grab a piece of chalk and draw a calculator on the ground. Keep it simple, like the one you see in the photo below. Trust me, simpler is better because it means fewer mistakes and shorter jumps.

GAMEPLAY

So, here’s how we start the game. We all gather around and choose who goes first. That person will toss a small stone onto a special drawing on the ground. The drawing looks like a calculator, you know, that thing we use to do math.

Now, this is where it gets really fun. The person who threw the stone has to jump around the drawing to make a special equation. They have to jump on different numbers and symbols to make the equation equal one. Then, they do it again to make it equal two and keep going until they reach nine.

Here’s an example to help you understand. Let’s say the person throws the stone on the number 3. They have to jump on the minus symbol, then onto the number 2, and finally to the equal sign. Are you following along?

Now, there’s a really cool rule in the game. When you jump on an odd number or a zero, you have to land on just one foot. Yep, you read it right. One foot! But when you jump on an even number or a symbol, like the plus or minus sign, you have to jump with both feet. How cool is that?

But, hey, here’s the tricky part. If you make a mistake, like jumping on the wrong number or stepping on the lines, or even not using your feet correctly, then your turn is over. Yeah, it’s a bummer, but don’t worry, you can start all over again when it’s your turn.
