Let’s Play Drinking Pool!
Every bar has a pool table, but why not make it more fun by turning it into a drinking game? You can play with the usual pool rules, but with an added twist!
Getting Started
Set up the pool table like you normally would. Get ready to team up in pairs, with two players on each team (that’s four people in total).
How to Play
Play pool just like you would with your friends. Each player should have their own drink. Remember, you might have to drink your partner’s drink, so choose something both of you enjoy! Here are the drinking rules:
- Teams take a chug for the break. The team of the first person to finish gets to break.
- If a player makes a ball, both members of the opposing team take a drink.
If you miss a ball, your team has to drink. For every ball you make in a row, the other team has to drink that many times. So if you make your second ball in a row, the other team has to take two drinks. If you make your third ball in a row, they have to take three drinks, and so on. If you commit a foul, the other team gets Ball-In-Hand, which means they get to place the cue ball wherever they want, and your team has to take a drink. The losing team has to chug the rest of their drinks and refill the winning team’s drinks. You can call a time out to refill your drink, but your partner also has to finish their drink so you can refill together. The game ends when a team wins the game of pool.
