DRAGONHEART
Hey there! Welcome to Dragonheart, a thrilling game where you become a brave dragon hunter in search of the most coveted treasure in the land – gold! Prepare to embark on an epic journey through a magical world filled with knights, trolls, princesses, dwarves, and all sorts of enchanting creatures. Your goal is to amass points by making strategic card moves. The player with the highest score emerges as the ultimate champion!
SETUP
To start the game, let’s set up the board in the middle of the play area. Make sure the dragon figurine is placed on its designated spot on the board. Now it’s time to choose your deck. Pick either the red or green deck to represent you throughout the game – the choice is yours!
Alright, let’s dive into the game! First off, we’ll need to choose our decks. Once we’ve done that, we’ll shuffle the decks and draw five cards, making sure to keep them hidden from our opponent. These five cards will be our starting hand. The remaining cards will be placed in front of us to create the draw piles. Now, it’s time to decide who goes first. The youngest player gets the honor, and we’re all set to get started!
GAMEPLAY
Now, it’s time for some action! We’ll take turns doing different things. During our turns, we’ll play cards, collect cards, and draw cards, in that order. When it’s our turn to play cards, we’ll pick at least one card from our hand and place it face up on the board. And here’s the key – the cards we play must have the same picture as each other and as the space they’re being played on. Oh, and don’t forget, we have to show the point values of the cards we play, and we must play at least one card. Got it? Good.
On the game board, each space has a card requirement to activate its effect, although not all spaces have effects. When I activate a space effect, I can collect the cards allowed by that space. Once I’ve collected my cards, I need enough to fill my hand up to five cards.
The game keeps going like this until a third stack of ship cards is placed with the other two stacks. Then, it’s time for scoring.
END OF GAME
The game ends when the third stack of ship cards is placed beside the game board. The player who placed that stack finishes their turn, and their opponent gets one more turn. The game can also end if a player can’t draw any more cards from their deck, making it their final turn.
You know what’s really cool? Playing games! I absolutely love them! There’s this one game that I want to tell you about. It’s called Point Tally. Have you heard of it before? No worries if you haven’t, I’ll explain it to you!
So basically, Point Tally is a game where the players keep track of their points. It’s super simple and tons of fun! The players compete against each other to see who can score the most points. And the best part? The player with the most points wins!
Now, let me introduce myself. I’m Ellie, and I live in Northeast Tennessee. I adore animals, whether they’re big or small. I can’t get enough of fantasy fiction novels, and I’m a big fan of spending time outdoors. I’m lucky to have an amazing husband who loves me almost as much as our two adorable fur babies. And let me tell you, I am so grateful to be a part of this incredible community!
Once again, Point Tally is a really great game. I think you’ll love it! I know I do. So grab a friend and start playing. Trust me, it’s worth it!
