Hey there, welcome to Corinth! It’s a place where we all get to be traders. We specialize in things like spices, grapes, oils, and carpets from all over the world. Our goal? Well, we each want to become the most famous merchant in town and earn the most money. Get ready for an exciting and fast-paced game!

SETUP

Before we begin, let’s set up the game. Place the harbor board right in the middle of the playing area. Make sure that each player has a sheet and a pencil. To decide who goes first, you can choose any method you like. The first player gets nine white dice, while the yellow dice are set aside for now. Oh, and don’t forget, each player starts with a gold coin and a goat.

When setting up the harbor, I start by crossing out an available spot on my turn track. I can buy up to three yellow dice if I want to. Each dice costs me one gold coin. After purchasing the dice, I roll the yellow ones along with the white ones. The dice with the highest value go on the holden district of the harbor. The rest are divided among the other districts, starting with the goat district and moving up.

THE GAME

Once all the dice have been placed, we can start the game. I will choose a group of dice to roll and then take the associated action. After my turn, any yellow dice left on the board will be removed. Then, it’s the next player’s turn, and we will take turns in clockwise order.

During the game, I have several options: I can collect gold or goats, deliver goods, move the steward, or construct buildings. The specific action I can take depends on which district my dice was found in. Once all players have completed their turns, any remaining dice at the harbor will be removed. If all the tracking spaces are full, the game will end. But if there is space left, we can continue playing.
