WHAT’S INCLUDED

Inside the box, you’ll find 14 pattern cards. Ten of them have red backs and feature a 3-light pattern. The other four have green backs and display a 4-light pattern. You’ll also get 35 light tiles. Each tile has different wires and bulbs on it. These tiles are crucial for completing the patterns on your cards.

Getting Started

First, we need to set up the game. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Take the light tile cards and shuffle them. Then, place them face down in a pile on the table.
2. Turn over the top two light tiles and put them next to each other, face up. Make sure everyone can see them.
3. Now, it’s time to deal the pattern cards. Shuffle the red pattern cards and give each player two. Shuffle the green pattern cards and give each player one. Keep these cards a secret from your opponents. Any extra cards can be set aside for now.

SCORING TIME

After placing my tile, it’s time to score some points! If I have any pattern cards, I can score them. The cool thing is, I can score as many cards as I want! All I need to do is match the pattern on the card with the pattern in the tile layout. If it’s a match, I place the pattern card face up in front of me on the table.

BROKEN WIRE TILES

Okay, here’s an interesting twist. When you draw a broken wire tile, you can choose to play it or give it to someone else. If you decide to play it, just put it next to any tile, and you’re good to go. But if you decide to give it away, the other player has to play it on their next turn. Sneaky, isn’t it? Oh, and remember, you can’t give a broken wire tile to someone who already has one. If everyone has a tile and you draw a broken wire, well, it’s time to put it into action!

If you do choose to give the tile away, don’t worry, you won’t be empty-handed. You get to draw and play another tile right away.
