BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE

WHAT IS BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE ALL ABOUT?

Hey there, let me tell you all about Boom Goes the Dynamite! It’s an exciting game filled with matches waiting to be sparked to life! The objective is simple: create matches either by luck or by using Ignite Cards to change things up. The player who makes the most matches by the end of the game is the winner!

Now, here’s the deal – you’ve got to keep your eyes wide open, take your time when it’s your turn, and be quick with your math skills! This game moves fast, and if you’re not paying attention, it’ll get ahead of you in no time.

GETTING READY TO PLAY

Alright, let’s get this party started! Here’s how you set up the game: first, shuffle the Match Deck. Then, place nine Match Cards face down to make the Matchbox. Make sure to keep these cards hidden from everyone.

Next, shuffle the Ignite Deck. Give each player three Ignite Cards. The remaining cards can be placed face down next to the Matchbox to create the Ignite Pile and the Match Pile. And just like that, the game is all set up and ready to go!

GAMEPLAY

I’m gonna explain how to play this game, step by step. Ready? Let’s go!

During your turn, you need to flip over two cards from the Matchbox. Take a good look at them. Now, if those two cards match, congratulations! You’ve made a Traditional Match!

Now, let’s say the two cards don’t match. Don’t worry, you still have a chance to ignite a match. You can use the Ignite Cards from your hand. Pretty cool, right?

Once you successfully ignite a match, all the cards you used in that match go to your Match Pile. Make sure to keep them in sight. Oh, and don’t forget to replenish the Matchbox. It needs to have nine cards at all times.

Now, here’s the exciting part. You can use cards from your Match Pile to make more matches. Just remember, you can only use the cards from your Match Pile after you’ve made your first match. Keep going until you can’t make any more matches. Let’s see how far you can go!

When you’re done with your turn, draw enough Ignite Cards from the Ignite Pile so that you have three Ignite Cards in your hand. Remember, you can only draw Ignite Cards at the end of your turn.

After that, it’s time for the next player to take their turn. The game continues clockwise around the group. I can’t wait to see who’s gonna win!

Match Cards

When I’m creating matches, I use the numbered cards. They come in two types: ignited and traditional. The ignited ones are really cool because they explode when you play them. If you have an ignited card, it not only counts as a match, but it also destroys all the cards it’s touching. So you get a double whammy!

Let’s Talk About Ignite Cards

Okay, so here’s the deal with ignite cards. When you play a Timer Card, you only have about ten seconds to flip over cards from the Matchbox and make as many matches as you can. You can choose to make either traditional matches or ignited matches, it’s up to you. But here’s the thing: once those ten seconds are up, your turn is over. So you gotta be quick!

Now, here’s a cool trick. If you have a Timer Card and you play it right after you make a match, you get even more time to make more matches. And if you have more than one Timer Card, you can combine them to give yourself even more time. It’s like time is on your side!

Oh, and one more thing. You’ve got these wild cards in your arsenal. They’re like the secret weapon. With a wild card, you can ignite a match between two number cards, no matter what. They don’t even have to match! And if you wanna buy yourself some extra time, you can use a wild card to give your Timer Card an extra five seconds. You’ve got to love those wild cards!

When you’re trying to start a match using math, Formula Cards are your go-to. They give you the power to make your cards match.

GAME OVER

The game reaches its end when there are no more match cards left. The winner is the one with the most cards!

The game comes to an end when all the match cards have been used up. The player who has collected the most cards is declared the winner!
