Welcome to ALEXANDROS!

Hey there! In this game, I’m going to help you build the most awesome army ever! We’re talking about surpassing the great Alexander the Great himself. It’s going to be quite the adventure!

Let’s Get Started!

First things first, you need to choose a color that represents you. Go ahead and pick one! Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive four cards and a scoring disc that match your chosen color. Make sure to place your scoring disc at the start of the scoring track. We’re ready to begin!

The game board is all set up and ready to go. You’ll see the Alexander figure waiting for you on the first space of the top left corner of the board. And hey, there are walls too! Make sure to separate them by color and place them beside the board. Now we’re really ready to dive into this amazing game!

The first step is to shuffle the cards and deal one face down to each player. Next, two cards are placed face up at the bottom of the board. The remaining cards are then set aside face down to create the card supply. Once the setup is complete, we can randomly select the first player and kick off the game!

How to Play

In the game, each player takes turns clockwise, starting with the first player. On your turn, you get to control the Alexander piece and make two actions of your choice. It’s important to strategize your moves, and a key part of that is moving Alexander himself.

So here’s the deal, right? You’re playing this game and you have two cards in the center of the board. You gotta choose one of them. Easy enough, right? But wait, there’s more! Once you’ve picked a card, you gotta move this guy called Alexander to the closest empty triangle that has the same symbol as the card you picked. It’s like a matching game! Oh, and don’t forget to add the card you picked to your hand and draw a new one to replace it. Gotta keep that hand fresh, you know?

Now, here’s where things get interesting. After you’ve moved Alexander, you gotta put up these black boundary walls between him and his previous spot on the board. Gotta keep him contained, you know? But the red walls, those are special. You only use those on the final turn, so save ’em for later!

Alright, now it’s time to take some actions. You get to choose two of the following: take back a guard (no regrets, right?), impose some taxes, take over an empty province or steal one from an opponent, or just take another card. Make your moves count, ’cause once you’re done, it’s the next player’s turn!

If you’re playing a game, it’s important to pay attention to signs that the game is ending. Keep an eye out for these signals so you can be prepared!

The Game’s End

The game will end if there aren’t enough black boundary walls left to mark your path. At that point, you can use red walls to complete your move and finish your two actions. This will signify the end of the game. Alternatively, the game can also end if a player reaches a minimum of 100 points.

In either case, the player with the most points is declared the winner!
