Village Actions of Lewis Clark

Village Actions of Lewis & Clark

Hey there! In the Village, we’ve got eight different areas where you and I can take action. Yup, there are eight Actions waiting for us, and we can all perform them. Let me break it down for you:

  • First, we’ve got five areas – each with just one spot (a single circle). This is where we can go hunting, work on our craftsmanship, exchange gifts, say our farewells, and practice shamanism. Just one spot for each of these actions, my friend!
  • Next up, we have one area with two spots (two circles). This is where we can upgrade our expedition. Cool, right?
  • And finally, we’ve got two unlimited areas – there’s no limit to how many of us can go there. One of these areas is for manufacturing canoes, and the other is for trading horses. Pretty neat!

Now, here’s the thing: these Village Actions might not be as valuable as the ones we encounter with other characters. But they do have their perks! See, when we take Village Actions, we don’t have to commit one of our own characters from our hand. Plus, we might even score some resources that we wouldn’t get anywhere else. And here’s another nifty bonus: when we take these actions, we can actually reduce the number of Indians in our expedition. How awesome is that?

A Fond Farewell

So, it’s finally time to say goodbye. Farewell. The end of an era is upon us. It’s bittersweet, isn’t it? On one hand, we’re excited for what lies ahead, and on the other hand, we can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness for the memories we leave behind.

Throughout this journey, we’ve shared laughter and tears, victories and defeats. We’ve grown, learned, and evolved together. It’s been quite the ride. And now it’s time to part ways.

As I reflect on our time together, I’m reminded of the power of connection. The bonds we’ve formed, the friendships we’ve forged, will forever be etched in our hearts. It’s amazing how people can come into our lives and leave such a lasting impact.

But life is like a flowing river, constantly moving and changing. We must embrace the ebb and flow, the comings and goings. And so, we say goodbye, knowing that our paths may cross again in the future.

To all of you who have been a part of this journey, I say thank you. Thank you for the laughter, the support, and the memories. Thank you for being there, for making this experience what it is. We couldn’t have done it without you.

As we go our separate ways, let’s not forget the lessons we’ve learned. Let’s carry the strength and wisdom gained from this experience into our next chapter. We are resilient, capable, and ready to take on whatever comes our way.

So, as we bid adieu, let’s take a moment to cherish the memories we’ve created. Let’s hold them close and treasure them in our hearts. Farewell, my friends. Until we meet again.

Hey there! Let me show you a cool move to shake up your game strategy. It’s really simple – just follow these steps!

First, take a look at your hand of Character cards, and see if there are any that you don’t need anymore. You can discard up to 3 of them by placing them face-up in the discard deck.

Next, we’re going to freshen up the Journal of Encounters. Discard all the Character cards from there as well, by placing them face-up in the discard deck beyond the game board. This step is really important because we want to make room for some new and exciting cards!

Now it’s time to refill the Journal. Draw 5 new cards and place them in the order that you draw them. This will reveal new Character cards for you to consider adding to your team. Pick one that catches your eye and recruit them to join your ranks!

So, by following these steps, you can lighten your hand by getting rid of useless cards and refresh the Journal with new and enticing options. It’s all about keeping things exciting and staying one step ahead of the game!

  • Lighten your hand and get rid of cards which have become useless.
  • Reveal new Character cards on the Journal, and then recruit one.

Trading for a Horse

Imagine you want to get your hands on a Horse because, let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want a magnificent, majestic creature like that? Well, I’m here to tell you how to make that happen. There’s a neat little trick called Horse Trade.

So, what exactly is Horse Trade? It’s a clever way to obtain a Horse from the Stock by paying with three different resources. But here’s the catch – each of these resources must be different from the other two. That means you can’t just use three of the same thing, oh no, you’ve got to mix it up!

Now, let me break it down for you. When you perform a Horse Trade, you’re essentially exchanging three things for the Horse you desire. These three things have to be distinct, you can’t use the same resource multiple times. It’s kind of like a puzzle, where you need to find three different pieces that fit together just right.

But why go through all this trouble? Well, horses are incredible creatures. They can gallop at great speeds and carry you to places you’ve never been before. And let’s not forget their undeniable beauty and grace. So, if you’re looking to explore vast lands, win epic battles, or simply enjoy a leisurely ride through the countryside, a Horse is the perfect companion.

So, next time you’re thinking about how to get your hands on a Horse, remember the secret to success – Horse Trade. It’s a unique and exciting way to acquire a Horse by trading three different resources. Just make sure those resources don’t match, okay? Good luck on your quest for equine companionship!

All About Canoe Manufacturing

If you want to get a canoe, you need to pay 2 Wood to get one from the Stock.

Time for an Upgrade!

Give me 3 Wood, and I’ll give you something special in return:

Hey there! Are you trying to figure out which resources you need in the game? Well, I can help you with that. You have the option of choosing either one Boat tile, which can carry resources, or 2 primary resources from the Stocks. It’s up to you to decide what works best for your strategy.

Hey there! So, here’s the deal: when you’re playing this game, you have a choice. You can either pick one Boat tile and one Indian from the Stock, or just take the tile on its own if there are no Indians left in the Stock.

Now, the fun part is adding this Boat and the Indian or resources to your Expedition. All you gotta do is place the tile next to your Expedition.

But here’s the tricky part: you need to think carefully about which side of the Boat tile you want facing up! Once you place those tiles next to your Expedition, that’s it – you can’t turn them over.

Hey there! Let me tell you about this awesome Boat I found. It’s a pretty cool thing, I must say. It’s like a double-edged sword – on one hand, it can hold up to two resources, which is super handy. And on the other hand, it doesn’t use up any Time during Encampment, which is a big plus.

Now, you might be wondering why this is important. Well, let me break it down for you. This Boat is a real game-changer because it allows you to carry resources without slowing you down. You can gather resources and keep moving forward at the same time. It’s like having your cake and eating it too!

Plus, this Boat is perfect for those who love exploring and venturing out into new territories. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it a great choice for all your aquatic adventures. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or just getting started, this Boat is a must-have.

So, if you’re looking for something to elevate your resource gathering game, look no further. This Boat is just what you need. It’s reliable, efficient, and stylish. And if you like efficiency as much as I do, then you’ll love this Boat.

This is a special Boat that can hold up to five items. It only takes one turn to make a Boat during Encampment if it already has at least one item inside.

Hey there! Let me tell you about this amazing Boat. It’s super cool because it can transport one Indian and won’t take up any of your precious time when you’re camping.

Hey there! Let me tell you about this awesome Boat!

This Boat is super useful because it can carry up to three Indians, and it only takes one Time during Encampment if it carries at least one Indian.

If you use this Action early on in the game, it will be even more helpful. Depending on your strategy, whether you’re focused on resources or helping out the Indians, you can choose the type of Boat that fits your needs.

That’s not all! This Action also gives you a bonus of either 2 resources or an Indian. How cool is that?

Shamanism

To activate a Character Action already in play, you can spend one Food. It doesn’t matter if the Action is in your Playing Area or an opponent’s Area. However, you can only use the Action once, regardless of the Strength originally used to activate it.

If you choose to copy an opponent’s Action, treat the card as if it were in your Playing Area. This means you will receive the rewards from that Action, rather than your opponent.

When you see this symbol , it means that the Character cards have a permanent effect that can’t be copied.

You can use this Action to play another player’s Character Action or to repeat an Action that you’ve already used.
