Player 1: This move doesn’t provide any extra benefits, but it will allow you to go first in the next round (since it’s the action at the top of the village).
Get ahead: Move one of your body parts to the front of your ship. If there’s a tie to determine who controls a ship, having your body part at the front gives you the advantage.
Switching Ships: You can move one of your body pieces from one ship to another. Just place it at the back of the new ship (the part farthest from the front).
Ready to Bet: Put one of your chips on the ship in the harbor, on the color you believe will take control of the ship first when it leaves.
Add 1: When I want to choose a ship to sail, I need to draw the top supply token from the stack and put it on the bow piece of the ship I choose.
Marketplace: Let’s talk about the marketplace and how it can boost the value of a certain type of supply. When I say “value,” I mean how important or valuable something is. In this game, the marketplace has little tokens that represent the value of supplies. These tokens can move forward on the marketplace, which means the value of the supplies goes up. But here’s the thing – the value can never go down. Once it goes up, it stays there. And there’s a maximum value of 4, so it can’t go higher than that.
Switch Ships: Take a body piece of any color and move it from one ship to another, placing it at the back of the new ship.
Bet/Move a Bet: If you want to make a bet, you have two options. The first option is to place a new bet, which is called the “Bet” action. The second option is to move an existing bet to a different circle on the harbor. You can move your bet in front of the same ship or choose a different ship to place it in front of.
Choose 3, Add 1: Take the top 3 supply tokens from the stack next to this building and select 1 token to put faceup on any ship’s bow. Put the rest of the supply tokens back on the bottom of the stack.
