- When you choose an action, it happens right away.
- The arrow symbol () on an action space means you need to get rid of the thing before the arrow to get or do the thing after it.
- If an action space has the word “OR,” it means you have to pick one option or the other, but not both. If the actions are described differently, you can choose the order in which you do them.
- If you have to discard a greenhouse, it goes back to where it came from. If you have any goods left on a discarded greenhouse, they go back to the supply.
On the game board, you’ll find different spaces for taking action. They are arranged in columns and rows. There are 4 columns in total: Property actions, Field actions, Market actions, and Town Hall actions. It’s necessary to know these terms because some service cards use them. Additionally, some service cards also mention the rows.
- Service cards do cool stuff right away or for a while. Their effects happen as soon as you use them. The instructions on each card will tell you when the effect starts. Some service cards are only for one time use, and they’re written in red. You can only grab those cards if you can use them right away. After you use the effect, the card doesn’t do anything else.

A8 – Village Elder
If you and another manager are at the same table after Tourism Time, you count the number of dishes on your table. You can throw away that many goods, in any mix, to move up 1 table.
Example: Imagine you have three dishes on your table. This means you can get rid of any three items to move up one table. So, you make the decision to throw away two tomatoes and one lettuce, which lets your manager move up one table. Business Relationships and Networking
In today’s world, business relationships and networking play a crucial role in career advancement. It’s not just about what you know, but also who you know. Building connections and fostering relationships can open doors to new opportunities and help you reach your professional goals.
When someone mentions “networking,” what comes to mind? For many, it can evoke feelings of discomfort and uncertainty. But it’s important to understand that networking is a two-way street – it’s about forming genuine connections and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Networking isn’t just about attending events and collecting business cards. It’s about building meaningful relationships and creating a network of trusted individuals who can offer support, guidance, and inspiration. By investing time and effort into cultivating these connections, you can elevate your professional profile and enhance your career prospects.
The Benefits of Networking
One of the key benefits of networking is the ability to access a vast pool of knowledge and resources. By creating a strong network of contacts, you increase your chances of hearing about job openings, professional development programs, and other career-enhancing opportunities. You never know who may have the perfect opportunity waiting just around the corner.
Another benefit of networking is the potential for collaboration and partnerships. As you build relationships with individuals who share similar interests or goals, you may discover opportunities for joint ventures or collaborations that can benefit both parties. By working together, you can leverage each other’s strengths and resources to achieve mutual success.
Building Your Network
Now that you understand the importance and benefits of networking, how can you start building your own network? Here are some steps to get you started:

- Join professional organizations: Professional organizations are a great way to meet like-minded individuals in your industry. Look for organizations or associations that align with your professional goals and values, and become an active member. Attend events, participate in discussions, and take advantage of any networking opportunities offered by the organization.

Platforms like LinkedIn provide opportunities to showcase your skills and expertise, connect with industry leaders, and join professional groups and communities.

Send a personalized follow-up message or email to express your appreciation for the conversation, and suggest meeting up for coffee or a phone call to continue building the relationship. Stay connected by regularly engaging with your network – share relevant articles or resources and congratulate them on their achievements.
Remember, networking is an ongoing process. It’s not just about making connections, but also nurturing and maintaining those connections over time. By following these steps and putting in the effort to build and sustain your network, you can unlock a world of opportunities and take your career to new heights.
B5 – Carrot Seed
Hey there! Let me tell you about the Carrot Seed card. It’s pretty cool, I must say. So, here’s the deal: when you play this card, something special happens. You know those greenhouses you have? Well, you get to put a carrot in each and every one of them, even the ones that don’t usually allow carrots. How awesome is that? And guess what? You also get to take one carrot from the supply. Sweet!
B11 – Trainer
Now, let me introduce you to the Trainer card. It’s quite handy, I must say. When you play this card, you can instantly fill up one empty parcel in each of your greenhouses with a good from the supply that can be seeded there but isn’t at the moment. A little boost for your garden, you know? Let me give you an example. Imagine you have a greenhouse where mushrooms can be seeded, but right now it only has lettuce. Well, with the Trainer card, you can place one mushroom on an empty parcel in that greenhouse. Pretty neat, right?
B12 – Market Maven
Hey there! Let me tell you about a special task I’ve got for you. It’s called B12 – Market Maven! Here’s what you need to do: head over to your greenhouses and grab some cauliflowers from the supply. But here’s the twist – you’re going to fill one empty parcel in each of your greenhouses with one cauliflower. Yes, even the ones that normally wouldn’t be allowed to have cauliflower. Talk about shaking things up!
C12 – Farm Guru
Now, let’s talk about the C12 card – Farm Guru. When it’s Homecoming Time, you can seize the opportunity and do some seeding. And guess what? You can do it as if your greenhouses had three parcels each! That means you can only have three goods on each greenhouse, but you’re free to seed anything you like. The choice is yours!
D11 – Greenhouse Extraordinaire
Finally, we have the D11 card – Greenhouse Extraordinaire. This card is a real game-changer, let me tell you why. It has a total of four parcels, divided into two separate sections. And you know what that means? You can seed goods of any type in these sections. The possibilities are endless!
Okay, here’s the deal – this card is like having 2 greenhouses. But here’s the catch – they’re not the usual kind of greenhouses; they’re more like mini greenhouses.
Let me explain. This card has 2 separate greenhouses, and each one has 2 parcels. So, in total, you have 4 parcels to work with.
But wait, there’s more. This card doesn’t count as a greenhouse for anything else besides the 2 little greenhouses I just mentioned. It’s kind of like a secret power that only works in certain situations.
E1 – Full Restaurant
Now, here’s the cool part. Whenever it’s Harvest Time, which happens at the start of each round, something special happens. If you look at the rows on the game board and you see that all the spots are empty – meaning no one is using them – guess what? You get a prize!
And what’s the prize? It’s a lettuce and a carrot! You get one of each from the supply. Easy peasy, right? And here’s the best part, even if there are multiple rows without any players, you still only get one lettuce and one carrot. But hey, it’s better than nothing!
Leasing Land for Greenhouses
Hey there, let’s talk about leasing land and what it means for your greenhouses! So, here’s the deal: when you play the “Lease of Land” card, something interesting happens. You actually have to give one of your greenhouses to your opponent – just once, though. Don’t worry, it’s not all bad news.
Now, here’s the twist. If there are any goods still hanging out in that greenhouse, they stay put. Yep, you heard me right. You’re essentially handing over both the greenhouse and any goods inside. It’s like a package deal!
