War is no stranger to us. Our nobles and leaders have always been caught up in their own power struggles. As for us common folk, it usually just means changes in taxes and rents, if we’re lucky enough to survive. But this time, something different happened. The duke and his army marched off and they never returned.
Well, not until the horde appeared. I’m pretty sure some of those tough fighters were once part of his army. Now everything is chaos. We are all in the same boat, facing death head-on. There’s no time for social divisions when the horde is knocking on your door. We join forces and fight back, refusing to be defeated.
Once upon a time, there was a person who had a special talent for magic. This person used to be very wealthy, strong, and respected. However, things have changed, and now they are just like the rest of us, barely hanging on to life. But they have a secret power that can whisk us away from danger. It’s better to escape and fight back than to stay here and be overwhelmed. Maybe there are still a few people we can save, and it wouldn’t hurt to have some better weapons. This person will keep fighting until the very end. They are a good person, never acting superior to others.
Number of Tiles: 4V & 9R.
What I Need to Do
I need to use the magic circle to teleport to safety. Then, I need to make sure all the survivors reach the Exit Zone. At the end of my turn, any survivor can escape through the Exit Zone, but only if there are no Zombies in it.
Additional Rules
- Here’s what you need to do to get started:
- First, set aside the Necromancer Zombie cards.
- Next, randomly place the green Objective among the red Objectives, keeping it face down.
- Then, put a Walker, a Fatty, and a Runner in the marked Zones.
- Abominations are considered as Fatties when reading Zombie cards, so keep that in mind.
- Now, let’s talk about the Objectives. Each one will give you 5 experience points when you grab it.
- When it comes to doors and keys, there are a few things to remember. The blue door can only be opened after you’ve grabbed the blue Objective, and the green door can only be opened once you have the green Objective.
- And finally, the green Spawn Zone is inactive until you manage to get your hands on the green Objective.
Quest 1: Big Game Hunting
Easy / 6+ Survivors / 60 Minutes
So, here’s the deal: me and my crew stumbled upon ground zero of the whole zombie mess. We saw this ginormous zombie strolling around, and there was some creepy wizard guy giving the orders to the horde.
It took us a good couple of days to track down the Necromancer’s hideout and figure out that the monster couldn’t be killed with our regular arsenal. That’s when we came up with our secret weapon: Dragon Fire.
Here’s what we’ll need: 1V, 2R, 8V & 9V.
The Mission
In order to win this game, we need to complete these objectives. We can tackle them in any order:
- Take down the big bad beasts. We gotta kill at least one Abomination and one Necromancer.
- Raid the lab. We gotta snatch up all the valuable stuff.
The Rules
- Setup:
Here’s your rewritten version:
Hey there! Ready for a super fun game? Let’s dive right in! Here are the steps to get started:
- First, take all the red Objectives and mix them up. Don’t peek!
- Now, pick one blue Objective and secretly place it among the red ones. Keep it face down so nobody knows which one it is.
- Next, it’s time to set up the Vaults. Grab a Vault artifact and shuffle it with the others. Make sure each Vault has one, but don’t let anyone see where you put them!
And that’s it! You’re all set to begin the hunt. Have a blast and enjoy the game!
In my search for the laboratory, I discovered an intriguing objective. Each one I find grants me 5 experience points. It’s a valuable reward for my efforts.
As I explore, I’m driven to locate the blue objective. It’s the key to revealing the laboratory’s hidden location. Once I find it, an immediate surge of excitement rushes through me. The appearance of a Necromancer adds an exhilarating challenge to the mix. If a Necromancer is already present, then an Abomination takes its place. And if both are on the board, well, at least I still receive the experience points.
Quest 2 awaits me: The Black Book. It’s an easy quest designed for 6 or more survivors, and it should only take approximately 60 minutes to complete. In this quest, I learn the truth: the zombie plague has not only consumed our village but has spread across the entire land. The notes discovered in the laboratory of the necromancer we defeated point to a mysterious Black Book and other powerful artifacts. My curiosity is piqued, and I’m eager to uncover the secrets held within.
When it comes to understanding the threat we’re facing, exploring the surroundings can be really helpful. It’s important to be aware that there are zombies along the way, people we used to know turned into monsters.
Tiles needed: 4V, 5R, 7V & 8R.
My Goals
In order to win the game, I need to reach these objectives. I can choose to complete them in any order:
- Steal the Black Book. I need to take the Objective in the central building (tile 8R).
- Claim the artifacts. I need to take both Vault artifacts.
- Feel the power. I need to get to the Red Danger Level with at least one Survivor.
Special Rules
- First, let’s get set up:
-
- I’m going to shuffle the red Objectives and randomly place the blue and green Objectives among them, face down.
- I’ll also put a Vault artifact in each Vault, making sure to pick randomly.
- Now, let’s talk about the keys and doors:
- Each Objective you find gives you 5 experience points, so make sure to grab them!
- But be careful! The blue door won’t open until you find the blue Objective, and the same goes for the green door and the green Objective.
- And watch out for magic traps! The green Spawn Zone is inactive until someone grabs the green Objective.
Quest 3: The Shepherds
Medium / 6+ Survivors / 90 Minutes
Necromancers are everywhere. They’re causing chaos and taking control of the whole kingdom! It feels like there’s nothing we can do to stop them, but don’t lose hope just yet.
Hey there! We’re pretty good at staying alive when we stick together. Our plan is to reach out and find other survivors so we can create our own powerful army. It’s been four days since we started, and we’ve been traveling to the next village, which is currently being attacked but not completely taken over yet. Let’s jump into the action and lend a helping hand to these people!
Here’s what we need: 1R, 2R, 3V, 4V, 5R & 9V tiles.
Objectives
We need to rescue the townsfolk. However, we have to be careful, as some of them might be infected. We win the game only when we successfully take all the objectives.
Special Rules
- First, let’s set everything up:
- Take the blue and green Objectives and mix them randomly with the red Objectives, making sure they are face down.
- Place one Vault artifact randomly in each Vault.
- Now, let’s talk about a little something called hidden folks. When a Survivor takes an Objective, they earn 5 experience points. Easy peasy, right?
- But here’s the twist: the blue and green Objectives are infected! If a Survivor takes one of these, it unleashes a Zombie spawn in the Objective’s Zone. So, be prepared to fight!
Quest 4: Famine
Medium / 6 Survivors / Variable
A few days have gone by, and these zombies are as dumb as rocks. But unlike them, we still need to eat, sleep, and find a safe place to stay.
Hey there! So, check it out – this town has a bunch of vaults underneath, which is pretty handy for us survivors. We can actually chill out and catch our breath for a bit in there. But here’s the deal, we still gotta make sure we gather enough supplies to last a few days. This whole war situation might drag on longer than any of us – including the big-shot Necromancers – expected.
Now, let me break it down for you. You’re gonna need these specific tiles: 1R, 2R, 3R, 5R, 6R, and 8R. Got it? Good.
What You Gotta Do
To win this game, you gotta complete the following objectives:
- First things first, we gotta find enough food. Get your hands on these 6 food cards and make sure they’re in your team’s inventory:
- Apples x2
- Salted Meat x2
- Water x2
- Once you’ve got that covered, lock yourselves in the yellow Vault. The game’s a win when all of us starting Survivors are holed up in there during an End Phase, with zero zombies harassing us. Pretty straightforward, right?
Oh, by the way, this Quest we’re on is for a team of 6 Survivors. Just so you know, depending on how things go, it can take different amounts of time to complete.
Some Extra Rules
- First, let’s get things set up:
- Take the blue Objective and mix it up with the red Objectives. Put them face down.
- Choose a random Vault artifact and place it in the Vault.
Quest 5: The Commandry
Medium / 6+ Survivors / 120 Minutes
This city has been conquered. Many lives were lost, but there are still some parts that remain intact. The Necromancers are busy fighting the noble in the castle, leaving the commoners for later, when they need more zombie reinforcements.
You know what we need? A way to get in touch with the people who are still alive. It would also be great if we could find out more about the infection. The Black Book doesn’t tell us much about it. But if we can get more information, we can come up with a bold plan to put an end to all this madness.
The first step is finding a way past the city walls. Some survivors we rescued mentioned a secret passage underneath the nearby commandry. Problem is, it’s heavily guarded. The Necromancers are definitely onto it. But if we can take out the guards, we’ll be able to enter and set our plan in motion.
We’ll need these tiles: 4R, 5R, 6R, 7R, 8R & 9R.
Here’s what we need to do:
1. Use the underpass to escape. Make sure all survivors reach the Exit Zone. They can leave through this zone at the end of their turn, as long as there are no zombies around.
Special Rules:
- First, I’m going to set everything up. I’ll randomly place the blue and green Objectives among the red ones, facing them down.
- Next, each Vault will get a Vault artifact, which I’ll also place randomly.
Quest 6: In Caligine Abditus
Medium / 6+ Survivors / 120 Minutes
Now we’re in the city, but we’re not as close to the Necromancers as we’d like to be. It’s super quiet here, like a ghost town. But don’t get comfortable because things are about to change. Once they realize we’re here, those Necromancers will be all over us. We can’t afford to make any noise. We have to be sneaky.
So, Clovis and I stumbled upon these mysterious writings in Latin on some walls while exploring. It’s strange, isn’t it? Who would go through the trouble of using underground passages to get around town?
What’s even more peculiar is that not everyone knows Latin. You have to be pretty educated to understand and write it. I think we might be dealing with a Necromancer here!
Here are the tiles we need: 2R, 3R, 5R, 6R, 8R & 9V.
Our objectives are clear:
To win, we need to make it to the Exit Zone. Everyone in our group has to reach it safely. Luckily, any Survivor can escape through this zone at the end of their turn, as long as there are no Zombies in it.
- Imagine this: necromancers setting the scene – what a promise! Picture the blue and green Objectives being randomly placed among the red Objectives, all facedown.
- And check this out – two random Vault artifacts are tucked away in the yellow Vault.
-
- But wait, there’s more – Latin writings! Each Objective is worth a cool 5 experience points for the Survivor who grabs it.
- Now, here’s the kicker – the doors. The blue door can’t be opened until you’ve grabbed the blue Objective. And the green door? Yep, it’s off-limits until you’ve snagged the green Objective.
Quest 7: Dead Trail
Medium / 6+ Survivors / 150 Minutes
Let me tell you, there’s no sneaking around anymore. But hey, that’s not a problem. My fingers are just begging for a good old zombie bash, and honestly, I’m tired of tip-toeing around anyway.
As I step into this place, I am immediately confronted by eerie symbols etched onto the walls. It’s a scene straight out of a haunting tale. The air feels heavy with the presence of necromancers, lurking in the shadows. I can only wonder what malevolent ritual they are engaged in. But we mustn’t let their dark intentions come to fruition. We have to find a way to disrupt their ceremony. Maybe, just maybe, if we can destroy the wicked scriptures, we can put an end to their plans.
Luckily for us, this district is home to skilled Orc weaponsmiths. They reside in the foundry, honing their craft of weapon-making. And here we are, in need of some new tools for our mission. How fitting!
What we need: 1 Red tile, 2 Red tiles, 3 Violet tiles, 4 Red tiles, 5 Violet tiles, and 6 Violet tiles.
The Tasks at Hand
- Locked Doors: Those violet Vault doors won’t budge until we complete the blue Objective. And don’t even think about opening the yellow Vault door until we’ve completed the green Objective.
- Thwart the Ritual: Let’s strategize. We can tackle the first two objectives in any order we choose.
- Put an End to the Ritual: We need to obliterate the impious scriptures. To do that, we must complete all the Objectives.
Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse: A Guide
Surviving a zombie apocalypse can be a terrifying experience. How can I ensure that I make it out alive, with all my companions intact? In this guide, I will outline the most important steps to take in order to increase the chances of survival.
Step 1: Get the Artifacts
The first crucial step is to obtain both Vault artifacts. These artifacts are key to your survival and will greatly enhance your abilities in the fight against the undead. Once you have acquired these artifacts, I suggest moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Reach the Exit Zone
The next objective is to make your way to the Exit Zone with all the survivors. This is where things get tricky. You must carefully navigate through the zombie-infested territory, utilizing your acquired artifacts to overcome any obstacles in your path. Remember, any survivor can escape through the Exit Zone at the end of their turn, but only if there are no zombies present.
Special Rules
It is crucial to be aware of the special rules that may affect your survival. These rules can range from limitations on the use of certain abilities to additional challenges that must be overcome. Be sure to familiarize yourself with these rules and adjust your strategy accordingly.
In conclusion, surviving a zombie apocalypse is no easy feat. By following these steps and staying alert, you can greatly increase your chances of making it through alive. Remember, teamwork is key and every decision you make could be a matter of life or death. Best of luck!
- Here’s what you need to do:
- First, mix the blue and green Objectives randomly with the red ones, and place them face down.
- Next, put a Vault artifact in each Vault randomly.
- Now, let’s talk about the Objectives.
Every Objective you find will earn you 5 experience points.
Quest 8: The Evil Temple
Hard / 6+ Survivors / 120 Minutes
Welcome to the center of necromantic power. It’s filled with cursed idols and a massive Abomination that’s been locked up. But that’s not all – the Necromancers have also discovered our strategy for dealing with their biggest monsters. We’re running low on Dragon Bile and our supplies are almost gone. Luckily, there are some vaults here. At least that’s something we can count on.
Now, let’s go after that beast. Sure, it might attract the attention of the Necromancers, but there can’t be too many of them – right? We just have to hope for the best.
Hi there! I gotta say, I’m a bit puzzled by these tasks. Like, why do I have to rewrite this stuff, you know? But hey, no worries, I’ll give it a shot. Here’s what I came up with:
So, basically, we need 1V, 2R, 4R, 5R, 8R & 9V tiles. That’s what we’re looking for.
The Goal
Survivor’s mission: Zombicide! This game is all about taking the Vault weapons and wiping out the Abomination. That’s how you win, my friend.
Some Extra Stuff
- To set up the game, shuffle the red Objectives and randomly place the blue and green Objectives among them, face down.
- Take out the Dragon Bile and Torch cards. Place one Dragon Bile card and one Torch card in the yellow Vault.
- Place two random Vault artifacts in the violet Vault.
Quest 9: The Hellhole
Hard / 6+ Survivors / 150 Minutes
I think I’ve found the spot where the Duke fought his last battle before the town was overrun. The survivors and the Duke sought refuge in the temple, hoping for the gods’ protection. But despite their efforts, the zombies proved too powerful. Now, this place is infested with the undead, and we have no choice but to fight them and put an end to this nightmare.
Wait, is that the Duke? Sorry, Your Grace, but we have to do what we must!
We’ll need the following tiles: 1V, 2R, 6V, 7R, 8V, and 9R.
Here are the objectives you need to achieve in order to win the game:
1. Gather all the Spawn Zones in one place. Place them on tile 1V in the Hellhole, as indicated. Make sure to follow the Necromancer rules.
2. Summon a dragon. Create a Dragon Fire in the Hellhole.
Complete these objectives in the specified order, and victory will be ours!
How We Do Alchemy
This is how we make magic happen. Every time I complete an Objective, I earn 5 experience points. Not only that, but I also get to search for a Dragon Bile card in the Equipment deck, and guess what? It’s free!
If there are no Dragon Bile cards in the Equipment deck, no worries! I just have to check the discard pile and shuffle the Equipment deck afterwards. Good as new!
Quest 10: Trial By Fire
Hard / 6+ Survivors / 180 Minutes
Here we are, right in the middle of the city where all the zombies have gathered. But it seems we weren’t the first ones to arrive. Some heroes or mercenaries tried to clean up the place before us, but they didn’t succeed.
However, they managed to trap the most terrifying Abomination we’ve ever seen in a nearby magic school. This beast is locked up, waiting for someone or something to set it free. Its powerful roar lures all the surrounding zombies like a beacon.
Strangely, there are still no signs of the Necromancers.
To complete this quest, we’ll need the following tiles: 1V, 2R, 3R, 4V, 5R, 6R, 7R, 8V, and 9V.
Objectives
Your goal is to eliminate the monster. Kill the Abomination that is located on tile 1V.
Special Rules
- Let’s begin by setting up the game:
- Randomly place the blue Objective among the red Objectives, face down.
- Put all Dragon Bile cards aside in the violet Vault.
- Set an Abomination in the marked Zone.
- The north-eastern building Zone intentionally does not have a door.
