How to Play
So, how does this game work? It’s pretty simple, really! I’ll give you a clue, and all you have to do is come up with words that fit the clue. Easy, right?
For example, if I give you the clue “animal with stripes,” what’s the first word that comes to mind? You got it – a zebra! See how quick and fun it can be?
Here’s a little tip: the more unique your words are, the more points you’ll score. So get creative and think outside the box!
Scoring
Now, let’s talk about scoring. Each word you come up with earns you points based on its length. Longer words mean more points! And remember, the more unique your word, the higher your score will be.
But there’s a catch – you can’t use the same word as someone else. So make sure to think fast and come up with your own words to earn those big points!
Game Length
The game will last for a set number of rounds, and each round will have a time limit. You’ll have to think quickly to come up with words before time runs out. But don’t worry, I know you can do it!

Each player gets five cards. The remaining deck goes in the middle of the playing surface, face down.

If you roll the WILD side, you have the freedom to use it as any vowel you like, including the letter Y. For instance, you could roll BOOT or BOAT, both of which are worth five points each.
A Piece of Advice
- Once you’ve played and stated a word, you can’t change it.
- No repetition of words is allowed in a round. The first player to place a word claims it.
- If you’re the last player to make a word, you can’t play it and only receive one point for that round.
- You don’t have to be the first, but being the last is not favorable!
How to Play Consecutive Rounds
Hey there! Let me fill you in on how to play this game of Consecutive Rounds. It’s gonna be a blast!
- So, here’s the deal. The player who started the previous round gets to start the next one. Pretty straightforward, right?
- Okay, now let’s get into the nitty-gritty. Starting with the chosen player, each person takes turns drawing one card. We go in a clockwise direction until everyone has five cards or until the deck runs dry. Oh, and here’s the catch – you need at least one card to get the round going!
- Game on! Keep playing until either two conditions are met: there are no cards left in the deck and at least one player has completely emptied their hand, or no player has enough cards to kickstart a new round.
Valid Words: The Lowdown
Spelling is at the core of this game, but not all words are created equal. Here are some important things to remember:
- No using proper names of people like Charles. Stick to regular words, my friend!
- Leave out abbreviations like D.C. We’re all about the full words here.
- Avoid using contractions like don’t. Remember, two words are better than one in this game!

When the game is over, subtract the remaining points in your hand from your total score.
