UNO Angry Birds Game Rules
Hey there! Are you ready to learn how to play the super cool UNO Angry Birds game? Well, sit back and relax because I’m here to give you all the juicy details you need to know.
Now, when it comes to the rules, UNO Angry Birds is a lot like the classic UNO game you may already know and love. But with a twist! Instead of regular cards, you’ll be using cards featuring your favorite Angry Birds characters. How awesome is that?
So, let’s dive right into it. The main goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards, just like in classic UNO. But there’s a catch – you’ll need to match the card on top of the discard pile by either color, number, or character. Got it? Good!
Now, let me tell you about some special cards you’ll find in this version. First up, we have the Angry Birds card. This one is special because it lets you choose any color to play. Talk about having the power!
Next, we have the Wild card. Just like in classic UNO, this card lets you change the color to whatever you want. Take that, Piggy!
But wait, there’s more! The game also features some extra special cards inspired by those pesky pigs. We have the Block card, which forces the next player to skip their turn. Oink, oink – sorry, not sorry! Then there’s the Hit card, which makes the next player draw two cards. Oh boy, this is getting intense!
Finally, we have the Boomerang card. This sneaky card allows you to throw it back at the player who played it to you. Double trouble, am I right?
Oh, and remember, when you’re down to your last card, you gotta scream “UNO!” If you forget, you’ll have to draw two more cards. Yikes!
So, now that you know the basic rules and the special cards, it’s time to gather your friends and have a blast playing UNO Angry Birds. Trust me, you’ll love it! Just be prepared to shout “UNO!” and show off your Angry Birds skills.
Have fun and may the Angry Birds be with you!
So, here’s the deal: the goal of this game is to be the first one to get rid of all your cards in each round. But here’s the fun part – you also get points for the cards that your opponents are stuck with! The more points you accumulate, the closer you are to winning the game.
Let’s Get Started
First things first, we all need to draw a card. Whoever gets the highest number gets to be the dealer. And remember, any card with a symbol counts as zero. Once we have our dealer, they shuffle the deck and give each of us 7 cards.
Now, let’s take the remaining cards and put them face down. This will be our draw pile. We’ll take the top card of the draw pile and turn it over to start our discard pile.
Let’s Get Started!
When it’s my turn in the card game, I have to match a card from my hand to the one on top of the discard pile. I can do this by matching the number, color, or symbol on the cards. Symbols represent Action Cards that have special functions. How cool is that?
If I don’t have a card that matches the one on the discard pile, I have to draw a card from the draw pile. But here’s the catch: If the card I pick can be played right away, I can play it in the same turn. If it can’t be played, it’s the next person’s turn.
Now, here’s an interesting twist! I can choose not to play a card from my hand, even if I have one that matches. In that case, I have to draw a card from the draw pile. And if that card can be played, I can put it down right away. But remember, after drawing a card, I can’t play any other card from my hand in the same turn.
Action Cards Are Super Fun!
Playing the Draw Two Card
When you play this card, the next player has to draw 2 cards and skip their turn.
You can only play this card on a card of the same color or on another Draw Two card. If the Draw Two card is the first card played, the same rule applies.
Turn the Tables Card
Hey there! Have you ever wanted to mix things up and change the direction of the game? Well, with the Turn the Tables card, you can do just that! When you play this card, the flow of the game reverses. So, if the game is currently moving to the left, it will now switch to the right, and vice versa.
But wait, there’s more! This card can only be played on a matching color or on another Turn the Tables card. So, make sure you’ve got the right circumstances to make your move.
Oh, and here’s a neat little twist. If the Turn the Tables card is the first card to be revealed at the start of the game, the dealer gets the honor of going first. And instead of the game moving to the left, it flips the script and starts moving to the right.
Skip Card
When I play this card, you lose your turn. This card can only be played on a card of the same color or on another Skip card.
If a Skip card is revealed at the start of the game, the player on your left loses their turn, so the player next to them begins the game.
A Surprising Card
When I play this amazing card, I get to be the boss and pick the color that keeps the game going. It can be any color I want, even the same color that was already in play when the Wild card came out.
You can spice up your turn by playing a Wild card, no matter if you have another card that could be played. And get this, if a Wild card starts off the game, the person sitting to the left of the dealer gets to choose which color keeps the fun flowing.
Wild Draw 4 Card
Hey there! When you play this awesome card, guess what? You’re in control! You get to pick the color that comes next and make things interesting. But wait, there’s a twist! The player after you has to draw a staggering 4 cards from the pile and, to make matters worse, lose their turn. Ouch!
Here’s the catch – you can only pull off this move if you don’t have any other card in your hand that matches the color on the discard pile. Keep in mind though, if you have a card with the same number or a cool Action Card, you’re good to go and play this wild card.
Oh, and just a heads-up, if this card shows up right at the start of the game, you’ll have to put it back in the deck and choose a different card. Bummer.
Note: If you think someone played a Wild Draw 4 card on you when they shouldn’t have (like if they actually had a matching card), you can question that player. If you do, they have to show you their hand.
If they’re guilty, they have to draw the 4 cards instead of you. But if they’re innocent, you have to draw the 4 cards AND 2 more cards (6 total)!
King Pig Card
Get ready to feel unstoppable with this card in your hand! Just pick a color and watch the chaos unfold.
Starting with the person on your left and going clockwise, give everyone a card from the draw pile until someone gets the color card you chose. It’s okay if not everyone gets the same number of cards – it’s all part of the fun!
And here’s the best part: this card is a Wild card, so you get to choose the color in play and the game continues in the same direction. If this card shows up at the beginning, the person on the left of the dealer gets to decide the color that keeps the game going.
Going Out
When you have just one card left, you have to shout “UNO” to let everyone know. This way, they’ll know you’re one card away from winning. But if you forget to yell “UNO” and you’re caught before the next player starts their turn, you’ll have to draw two cards as punishment.
When I don’t have any cards left, that’s when the round ends. We add up our points, then start a new round.
If the last card played in a round is a Draw Two or Wild Draw Four card, you have to draw 2 or 4 cards, depending on the card, before we count up the points.
If we run out of cards in the draw pile and no one has played all their cards, we shuffle the discard pile and keep playing.
Scoring
When you’re the first to get rid of all your cards, you score points for the cards in your opponents’ hands:
- All cards with numbers from 0-9: You get points equal to the number on the card.
- Draw Two: You get 20 points.
- Reverse: You get 20 points.
- Skip: You get 20 points.
- Wild: You get 50 points.
- Wild Draw Four: You get 50 points.
- King Pig: You get 50 points.
After we finish adding up all the points for the round, and if none of us have hit the 500 point mark, we’ll mix up the cards and start a fresh round.
Game Over
The person who gets to 500 points first is the winner.
