What’s the Aim of the Game?

The goal is simple: be the first player to finish a lab experiment by moving your Totally Gross Slime 10 spaces.

How Does the Game Board Work?

The game board is filled with excitement!

Your playing piece will move around the outside of the board.

In the middle of the board, there are four kids, each with their own Score Line.

Choose one of the kids and place your Totally Gross Slime on their Score Line.

From there, you’ll move your slime along the Score Line, from 1 to 10.

But watch out! The game board also has spaces for Professor Cards and Totally Gross Cards. They can throw some interesting surprises your way!

1. First, choose your playing piece and get a handful of Totally Gross Slime. Squish and stretch the slime in your hands to warm it up.
2. Next, carefully place the slime on your nose.
3. Now, place your playing piece on the Lab Space at the top of the board. This is where you’ll start your gross adventure!
4. Let’s set up the cards:
   1. This game has two decks of cards. First, unwrap both decks and gather all the Professor Cards. Then, separate the Totally Gross Cards from the Lab Cards. Now you have three different piles of cards.
   2. Put the Professor Cards and the Totally Gross Cards on the game board.
   3. Keep the Lab Cards nearby. You won’t need them until later in the game.

When playing this game, the youngest player gets to choose which questions everyone will read from the Professor Cards. They can pick from the top, middle, or bottom questions.

How to Play the Game

Hey there! So, here’s the deal. When you land on one of these spaces, you’re gonna have to answer a question. It’s pretty straightforward. We’ve got a step-by-step process to keep things organized.

1. First things first, the person on your left will be your Reader. They’ll grab a Professor Card and read out the question. Now, pay attention! The question they read will depend on what the youngest player picked at the beginning of the game. It could be the top, middle, or bottom question.
2. Once the Reader asks the question, it’s your turn to answer. Simple as that. If you get it right, you get to move your Totally Gross Slime forward on the Score Line. But here’s the fun part! The Colored Bubble Space you’re on determines how far you stretch that slimy goodness. Let me break it down for you:
   • If you’re on a 1 space, you move 1 space on the Score Line.
   • If you’re on a 2 space, you move 2 spaces on the Score Line.
   • If you’re on a 3 space, you move 3 spaces on the Score Line.

When you answer a question incorrectly, it means your turn is finished.

Super Disgusting Places



If I land on one of these spaces, I have to do a Gross-Out, which is like a dare.

Here’s how it works:

1. I pick up the Totally Gross Card. The card has two Gross-Outs on it. If my last roll of the die was odd, I read the top Gross-Out to the group. If it was even, I read the bottom one.

2. I have to try to do what the card says. If I do it, I get to move my slime ahead 1 space on the Score Line. But if I don’t try, my turn is over.

Now, let’s talk about the Lab Spaces.

1. Firstly, each player starts with a slime creature that they will guide through the game board.

3. When each player’s turn is over, play switches to the next person on the left.

2. You, the player to my left, will be my Reader. You’ll draw a Lab Card and read the experiment out loud.

Special Note: If the experiment requires materials that we don’t have, you can draw a new card with a different experiment.
