When I play this game, I get to choose a goal card from the category I like best and add it to my hand.

Remember: I can only have a maximum of 5 cards in my hand. If my hand is already full with 5 cards, I can’t draw a sixth one. I need to complete at least one goal before I can draw again.

Upgrades

The upgrades can be built on a plot (if they are printed on the plot) or can be added if you have acquired an upgrade chip due to the “Clouds” weather condition. If you have an upgrade in your reserve, you can use it at any time during your turn without using up an action.

Upgrades can only be added to plots that do not yet have bamboo (meaning plots that were just placed, plots that are not irrigated, and plots where the Panda has just eaten everything).

The conditions for ending the game depend on how many people are playing:

During the final round, the player who started it gets the special ‘Emperor’ card, which is worth 2 points. They also finish their turn.

It’s important to note that a player can still complete other objectives during the turn in which they trigger the final round.

After the final round, each of the other players gets a final turn. They can try to complete objectives to improve their scores. Finally, the Emperor evaluates all the players and rewards the one who deserves it the most.

When we finish playing the game, we add up the points from the objectives we completed. Any cards that we still have in our hand don’t count for anything.

The player who has the most points is the winner and gets a big congratulations from the Emperor. If two players have the same number of points, then we look at the points from the Panda objective cards to break the tie.
