Setting up the Game

For all versions of the game: You need to place a worm into each hole, with the tail end down. This is important to make the game work properly.

Now, the youngest player gets to start, and then it’s the next player’s turn, going in a clockwise direction. To start your turn, slide the lever towards the top of the apple. This will activate the game, and you’re good to go. The game ends when the worms stop popping out!

How to Play – Same Color Game

This version is for 2 to 4 players.

Each player gets 5 worm cards of the same color. Lay them face up in a row in front of you. These cards are the key to winning the game, so make sure to pay attention to them.

Alright, now you know the basics of how to play “Worms Up!” It’s time to have some fun. Are you ready to collect those worms and show everyone who’s the fastest? Let the games begin!

When it’s my turn, I slide the lever back and carefully choose one worm at a time. I examine the tip of each worm’s tail, searching for a match with my color card. If I find a worm that matches, I remove it from the apple and place it on top of one of my cards. I keep picking up worms until they stop popping out, and then it’s the next player’s turn.

One person slides back the lever, and then we all take turns picking worms one at a time.

When the timer runs out, someone else sets the lever, and we keep going until someone collects five of the same worms to win the game!

This game is for 2 to 4 players.

Shuffle and deal the cards, just like in the other games. Each player puts their cards in a row. But in this version, you have to match worms in the same order they’re placed in front of you, from left to right!

Here’s an example: If your first card has a blue worm, you need to find a worm with a blue tail and place it on that card before you can find a matching worm for your second card.
