1. I’m going to start by opening the gameboard and putting it in the center of the table.
2. Next, I’ll take the party cards and place them on the board following the Kids’ party card challenge (below).
3. Then, I’ll shuffle the Chance cards and put them face-down on the Chance space in the center of the board.
4. After that, I’ll assemble the Party Box (instructions on the back page) and place it on its designated space in the center of the board.
5. Now, it’s time to deal out the cash.

Kid’s Party Card Challenge

If you want to decide who goes first, let’s do this challenge!

• Put the party cards on the spaces they match as quickly as you can! If there’s more than one player playing, you can split the cards equally among yourselves.
• The person who matches the cards the fastest will go first! (If you’re the only one playing the challenge, you’ll automatically go first if you get all the cards right!)

Game Play

1. Roll the die and move your Cupcake mover. Roll the die to find out how many spaces to move your Cupcake mover clockwise from GO. If you roll this, draw a Chance card and follow the instructions written on it.
2. Where did you land? Look at ‘The Spaces’ section below to know what you need to do on the space where you landed. Once you have followed the instructions for that space, it will be the next player’s turn.
3. Party on! Keep taking turns, rolling the die, and moving around the board until someone runs out of money (goes bankrupt).
4. Bankrupt? If you don’t have enough money to pay everything you owe, you go bankrupt. When this happens, you don’t have to pay any of the money you owe, and the game ends right away.
5. Win! The game ends when someone goes bankrupt. Count how much money you have, and remember to add M1 for each party you own. If you have the most money, congratulations! You win!

The Spaces

Party without presents: When I stumble upon a party that nobody else owns, I have to purchase it.

• First, I’m gonna take the party card from the space and pay the Bank the price written on it. Then, I’ll keep the card in front of me.
• Next, I’ll put one of my presents on the colored band at the top of the space so everyone knows it’s my party.

Party with present: If I land on a space where another player’s present is, I’m a guest at their party.

I’ll pay them the price on the space as a gift. But if I land on a space that has my present, I don’t have to do anything. It’s time to enjoy my party!

Chance:

Alright, here’s the deal: grab the top Chance card and give it a good read. Then, do whatever it says on there, no questions asked. And hey, if it’s one of those pesky cards that makes you cough up some cash, just go ahead and pop it in the Party Box. Once you’re done, slip that used card right back to the bottom of the deck. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Party Box:

Hey, guess what? You’ve hit the jackpot! Whenever you land on a Party Box space, you have the exciting opportunity to open the special box right in the middle of the game board. And wait for it… you get to keep all the money that’s hiding inside!

Once you’ve had your fun and collected your cash, just close up the box and place it back on the board. It’s as simple as that!

Hey there! No need to panic – you’re not stuck in jail or anything. You’re simply visiting! Take a deep breath and relax.

Free Parking:

Hey there! Guess what? When you land on this space, no worries! You get to take a little break from the party and do absolutely nothing. Isn’t that awesome? You can just kick back, relax, and enjoy a moment of peace while everyone else keeps playin’. It’s like a little vacation right in the middle of all the action. Headed for Jail!

Hey there! It looks like I have a not-so-fun news for you. You need to move your Cupcake mover straight to the Jail space. Unfortunately, there’s no M2 for you if you pass GO. Bummer, right? Don’t worry, though! On your next turn, you’ll have to pay M1 to the Bank. After that, you can roll the dice and move as you normally would. Hang in there!

No More Presents Left

If you run out of party supplies, you can’t just buy more without giving up one of your existing parties first. You’ll need to pay the Bank for your new party and return the party card you’re giving up to its designated space. Then, you can move your present to your new party. Unfortunately, you won’t get any money back for the party you’re giving up – it’s the price you pay for being such a wild partier!

The game comes to an end as soon as the first player goes bankrupt. At that moment, the player with the most money becomes the ultimate winner. If you want to make the game a bit more challenging, here are some extra rules you can try.

Party Pairs: Mix things up by matching party cards together. This adds a new level of strategy to the game.

Swap: Trade one of your parties with another player. Make sure you negotiate wisely to get the best deals!
