Monopoly Gamer Rules

Hey there, welcome to the world of Monopoly Gamer! I’m here to guide you through the game’s rules and give you a head start in your gaming adventure. So grab your tokens and let’s dive in!

1. Getting Started

First things first, let’s set up the game. Each player chooses a character token, such as Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, or Yoshi. These tokens have special abilities that you can use throughout the game. You’ll also need the game board, power-up cards, and boss cards. Place the board in the center and give each player some coins. You’re now ready to begin!

2. Gameplay

The objective of the game is to earn the most points by collecting coins, buying properties, and defeating bosses. You’ll take turns rolling the dice and moving your token around the board. When you land on a property, you have the option to buy it with your coins. This will give you ownership and the ability to collect rent from other players who land on your property. You can also level up your properties to increase their rent value.

3. Power-Ups

Throughout the game, you’ll come across power-up cards that give you special abilities. These abilities can help you collect more coins, steal coins from other players, or even attack bosses. Use your power-ups wisely to gain an advantage over your opponents.

4. Boss Battles

As you make your way around the board, you’ll encounter boss spaces. These spaces trigger boss battles, and you’ll need to use your power-ups to defeat them. If you succeed, you’ll earn points and rewards. Be careful, though, as the bosses can also take away your coins or hinder your progress.

5. Ending the Game

The game comes to an end once all the boss battles have been completed. Now it’s time to count up your points. The player with the most points wins the game!

6. Additional Tips

Here are a few extra tips to help you along the way: focus on collecting coins, strategically level up your properties, and don’t forget to use your power-up cards. Oh, and most importantly, have fun!

So there you have it, an overview of the Monopoly Gamer rules. I hope you’re feeling excited and ready to start playing. Remember, it’s all about collecting coins, buying properties, defeating bosses, and becoming the ultimate Monopoly Gamer champion. Good luck and enjoy your gaming adventure!

MONOPOLY Gamer is all about the points, not just the money! To win, you gotta rack up those points. And how do you do that? Well, there are a few ways. First, you can collect Coins – lots of ’em. Second, you can buy Property – you know, invest in some prime real estate. And last but not least, you can take on Bosses and come out victorious. It’s all about strategy and making those moves that will boost your point count.

What’s Included?

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

As I introduce you to the exciting world of a Nintendo-themed MONOPOLY board game, let’s first take a look at what’s included in the box:

– A game board

– 4 Character Tokens

– 4 Character Cards

– 4 Reminder Cards

– 8 Boss Cards

– 16 Title Deed Cards

– 1 Numbered Die

– 1 Power-up Die

– 90 Coins

– A rulebook

So, what’s the objective of the game? Well, it’s quite simple really. You’ll be racing around the MONOPOLY board as one of your favorite Nintendo characters. The aim is to earn points by collecting Coins, buying Property, and defeating Bosses along the way.

When the final Boss Fight is complete, the game comes to an end. At that point, the player with the highest score emerges victorious!

Now that we know what we’re aiming for, let’s move on to setting up the game. Here’s what you need to do:

1. First, separate the Coins by their value and make sure they are easily accessible to all players.

2. Next, gather the Boss cards and arrange them facedown in sequential order, starting with Boss 1 at the top. Keep this pile nearby.

Now that everything is set up, it’s time to dive into the exciting world of Nintendo MONOPOLY and see who comes out on top!

Alright, here’s what you need to do with the Title Deed Cards:

  1. Place the Title Deed Cards next to their matching board spaces. If you don’t have enough space, just keep them in a stack.
  2. Assign someone to be in charge of the Title Deed Cards.

That’s it! Now you’re ready to start playing!

Now, to kick off the game, we all begin with some goodies. You’ll have 5 Golden Coins, which are each worth 1 point. Along with that, you’ll also get 1 Five Coin, which is worth a whopping 5 points. And that’s not all! You’ll also receive a handy Reminder Card to keep track of important stuff. Isn’t that cool?

Get Ready to Dive into the Exciting World of Game Elements

Hey there! Are you ready to explore the fascinating world of game elements? Buckle up, because we’re about to embark on a thrilling adventure!

Now, you may be wondering, what exactly are game elements? Well, my friend, I’m here to fill you in. Game elements are the building blocks that make up a game, just like the pieces of a puzzle. They are the rules, challenges, rewards, and interactions that bring games to life.

So, let’s dive right in and take a closer look at some of these game elements. First up, we have rules. These are like the traffic signs of the game world. They set the parameters and boundaries, telling you what you can and can’t do. Rules make the game fair and ensure everyone plays by the same set of guidelines. Without rules, chaos would reign supreme!

Next on our list are challenges. These are the obstacles you need to overcome to progress in the game. Challenges can be anything from solving puzzles to defeating enemies. They test your skills and keep you on your toes. Overcoming challenges gives you a sense of accomplishment and pushes you to become better.

Rewards are another important game element. They act as a pat on the back, a virtual high-five for a job well done. Whether it’s unlocking a new level, earning points, or receiving virtual currency, rewards provide a satisfying feeling of progress. They motivate you to keep going and strive for even greater success.

Interactions are the glue that holds everything together. In a game, you don’t exist in a vacuum. You interact with other players, non-player characters, and the game world itself. These interactions can be cooperative or competitive, adding a dynamic and social aspect to the game. They allow you to connect with others and experience the joy of shared victories and the thrill of friendly competition.

Now that we’ve explored some of the key game elements, you might be wondering, what’s the point? Why do these elements matter? Well, my friend, let me tell you. Game elements create an immersive experience. They transport you to different worlds, challenge your skills, and provide a sense of achievement. Games have the power to captivate and engage like nothing else.

So, whether you’re a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, game elements are the secret ingredients that make gaming so irresistible. They keep you coming back for more, eager to explore new worlds and conquer new challenges.

Next time you pick up a game, take a moment to appreciate the game elements at play. And remember, the next adventure is just a game away!

Let’s Play the Game!

Hey there! Are you ready to dive into an exciting adventure? We’re going to earn points, collect coins, buy property, and even fight bosses. The player with the highest score wins in the end!

First things first, we all roll the numbered die. The one who rolls the highest number gets to start, and then the game moves to the left.

  1. Now, let’s roll both dice and do the following things in any order:
    • Move your character forward the number of spaces that you rolled. Don’t forget to collect any coins you pass or land on, but remember, there are no coins on the starting space.
    • Activate the special ability on your Power-up Die. Check your Character card to see if your character gets a boost for the ability you rolled. How cool is that?
  2. At the end of your turn, if you landed on or passed GO, it’s time for a Boss Fight! Flip over the top Boss card and get ready for an epic battle.

It’s your turn now! Pass the dice to the person on your left when you’re done. Oh, and remember, if you forget to pick up Coins before passing the dice, tough luck! The Coins will sit there until the next person’s turn!

Let’s talk about Property Deals. You have the option to buy, sell, or trade Property with other players at any point during your turn. Keep in mind that you can’t sell or trade Boss cards though. Any points you earn from defeating a Boss belong to you until the game ends!

Now, let’s take a look at the Board Spaces. Where did you land? The rules of that specific board space will dictate what happens next. Find out more in THE BOARD SPACES section.

What are Properties?

Properties are the places you can buy on the board. They are arranged in order of price, from the cheapest ones in Acorn Plains to the most expensive ones.

What happens when a Property is unowned?

If you land on a Property that no one owns, you have two choices. You can either buy it or start an auction for it.

What if I want to buy a Property?

If you decide to buy a Property, you have to pay the price shown on the space and you receive the Title Deed card for that Property.

What if I don’t want to buy a Property or can’t afford it?

If you don’t want to buy a Property or you don’t have enough Coins to afford it, the Property goes up for auction. The bidding starts with you and then goes to the left. Bids can start at 1 Coin and can increase by as little as 1 Coin.

The player with the highest bid in the auction wins the Property, and the payment goes to the Bank. If none of the players make a bid, the Property remains unowned.

Properties under Ownership

Hey there! When you happen to land on a Property that someone else owns, you gotta pay them the rent amount mentioned on the Property’s Title Deed card. It’s a way for them to make some cash!

But wait, there’s more! If a player happens to own both Properties in a color set, you gotta pay them double rent! Woah, that can really add up, huh? Now here’s the cool part: if the owner doesn’t remind you to pay before the next player rolls the dice, you can totally skip the rent payment! No harm done!

Hey there! When you arrive in this world, go ahead and move in a clockwise direction to the next Warp Pipe, and make sure to stop there. Don’t forget to pick up any dropped Coins along the way!

A Quick Visit

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Welcome to our little corner of the internet. I wanted to let you know what happens when you land here. Just put your Character Token on the Just Visiting space. It’s as simple as that!

Go to Jail

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Uh-oh! Looks like my character is in trouble! I have to move my Character Token to the In Jail space right away! No collecting 2 Coins for passing GO and no getting any Coins when I pass or land on them. I can’t even flip over a Boss card. Bummer! And that’s the end of my turn.

While I’m in Jail

While I’m in Jail, I can’t join Boss Fights. That’s a bummer, but rules are rules!

But don’t worry, I can still collect rent, take part in auctions, and even trade. Yay! I still have to watch out for Character Abilities, though. And if I ever need to drop Coins while I’m in Jail, I just drop them on the Just Visiting space.

How can I get out of Jail?

Well, there are two ways. I can pay 5 Coins to the Bank before rolling the dice for my turn. Then I roll both dice and take my turn like usual. Or… (dramatic pause) …I can try to roll doubles to get out of Jail. If I roll doubles, I can move my Character Token out of Jail and take my turn. Phew!

Roll the dice and hope for a 6! If you roll a 6, you’re out of Jail without any consequences. Roll both dice and continue with your turn. But if you don’t roll a 6, tough luck! Your turn is over. But don’t worry, after your second try, you can leave Jail for free and roll both dice normally on your next turn.

If you manage to get out of Jail, don’t forget to collect any Coins on Just Visiting.

Go

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When you land on or pass GO, you get 2 Coins from the Bank. And don’t forget to flip over the top Boss card at the end of your turn! Make sure to check out the BOSS FIGHTS for more details.

Hey there, let’s talk about the Super Star! It’s one of the coolest power-ups in the game. When you use the Super Star, you become invincible for a short time. No one can touch you! It’s like having a forcefield around you.

But remember, the Super Star only lasts for a limited period. So make sure you use it wisely! Timing is everything. And if you want to level up and beat those tricky Bosses, the Super Star can really come in handy. It gives you that extra boost to take them down!

So, keep an eye out for the Super Star power-up. It’s a game-changer! Don’t forget to collect those Coins from the Bank when you pass GO, too. Take charge, and let’s get ready for an epic adventure!

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Welcome to this awesome place! Once you touch down here, you can activate your Character’s special Super Star Ability. How cool is that? Let me tell you all about it!

Every Character in this game has a unique Super Star Ability. It’s like their secret power that helps them stand out from the crowd. These abilities are really amazing and can give you a big advantage in the game.

Now, I can’t explain all the Super Star Abilities right here, but don’t worry! You can check out your Character card to get all the juicy details. It’s right there, waiting for you!

So, when you’re playing the game and you land here, make sure to use your Super Star Ability. It’s a game-changer and will make you feel like a superstar! Trust me, it’s worth it! Good luck and have a blast!

It’s Time to Collect Those Coins, Yoshi!

Hey there! Let’s talk about collecting coins on the board. Trust me, it’s a super important task!

So, here’s the deal: you’re looking for those shiny, golden coins scattered across the level. Why, you ask? Well, let me tell you why it’s so important!

Firstly, collecting coins helps you rack up points. And who doesn’t want to feel like a superstar with a high score? It’s like a virtual pat on the back, my friend!

But that’s not all. Coins can also give you some extra lives. Yes, you heard me right – extra lives! Imagine having a few more chances to navigate those tricky jumps and tricky enemies. It’s a game-changer, my friend!

Now, let’s not forget about the power-ups. Many times, hidden among those coins, you’ll find power-ups like mushrooms or flowers. These babies can make you stronger, faster, or give you some special abilities. Who wouldn’t want to be a super-powered Yoshi?

But hey, there’s a catch. Those pesky enemies will also try to grab those coins. They’re like little coin thieves! You need to be quick and snatch up those coins before they do. Trust your instincts and show those enemies who’s boss, my friend!

So, next time you venture into the game world, remember this: coins are more than just bling – they’re your ticket to glory and success! Now, go out there and collect them all, Yoshi! You got this!

Unleash the Power of the Power-up Die

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Have you heard about the amazing Power-up Die? It’s a game-changer that gives you the ability to activate special powers during your turn.

When you roll the Power-up Die, your character gains a special boost that enhances their abilities. It’s like unlocking a secret power! Just check your Character card to find out what awesome ability you’ll get.

But here’s the catch – you need to activate your Power-up Ability and any other special boosts before the next player takes their turn. Once the dice start rolling, it’s too late to use your powers!

When I use a Red Shell, I can pick any player and drop 3 Coins on the space they are currently on. If I am Princess Peach and I roll a Red Shell, I can make that player drop 4 Coins instead!

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Rolling a Green Shell in the game has an interesting effect on the next player. When I roll a Green Shell, the player who comes after me on the game board, starting from where I am, will find themselves dropping 3 Coins on the space they are currently on. That’s pretty cool, right?

Now, let’s say there are two players tied for the position of the next player. In that case, I get to choose which one of them will be affected by the Green Shell. It’s like being in control of the game’s destiny!

And here’s a fun fact: If I happen to be playing as Yoshi and I roll a Green Shell, I have an extra advantage. Instead of just affecting the player in front of me, I can choose to target a player who is either in front of or behind me. That means I can strategically drop 3 Coins from someone who is trailing behind or catch up to someone who’s leading the game. Yoshi sure knows how to make the most of a Green Shell!

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Rolling a Blooper in the game allows me to take 2 Coins from any other player. Can you believe it? I get to snatch their hard-earned Coins right from under their nose! It’s like finding a hidden treasure in the game. I guess sometimes luck is on my side, huh? I’m not gonna lie, it feels pretty good to have that power. Those Coins come in handy, you know? I can use them to buy special items or upgrade my character. Plus, it’s always nice to have a little extra cash in my virtual pocket. Just imagine the look on their faces when I swoop in and grab what’s rightfully mine. It’s like a little victory dance every time I roll that Blooper. So, watch out, my friends – my dice are hot, and I’m coming for your Coins!

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

So here’s the deal: when I roll a POW, everyone else loses 1 Coin from where they are. But get this, if you’re Donkey Kong and you roll a POW, then everyone else loses 2 Coins! Talk about a double whammy!

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When I roll Coins, I get 3 Coins from the Bank. If I’m Mario and I roll this, I get 4 Coins!

Why does it matter which die I use first?

Let’s say Mario just rolled a four and a green shell. If he uses the green shell first, Donkey Kong will have to drop 3 Coins on his space. When Mario moves, he can pick up the Coins as he passes!

But if Mario moves first and then uses his green shell, the shell will hit Princess Peach instead, and he won’t be able to pick up those Coins on this turn.

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

What happens if I run out of Coins?

If you ever find yourself in a situation where another player uses a Power-up Ability that makes you give away or drop your coins, or if you need to pay rent, it’s important that you take care of it.

If you don’t have enough coins, you have two options. The first is to sell any property you own back to the Bank at its original value. The second option is to sell your property to other players at a price that you both agree on. Once you’ve done that, you can then give away or drop any remaining coins that you owe.

But what do you do if you don’t have any coins and you have already sold all your property? Well, in that case, you don’t have to do anything. You’re already in a tough spot, so just hang in there!

Boss Fights

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When you land on or pass GO, something exciting happens – a Boss Fight! Here’s what you do at the end of your turn:

  1. First, flip over the top Boss card, so that everyone can see it.
  2. Next, if you want to take on the Boss and you have enough money to pay the roll cost, go ahead and do it! Most Bosses will ask you to pay the roll cost to the Bank, but some might ask for payment directly. If that’s the case, put your payment on the Boss card. But here’s the thing – if you don’t feel like fighting the Boss, you can pass. In that case, the player to your left will get a chance to fight. And so it goes, until all players have had a chance. Once you skip a Boss fight, you can’t join back in, but you can still fight other Bosses later on.
  3. Roll the numbered die. Did you defeat the Boss? If your roll is equal to or higher than the required roll, you emerge victorious! Immediately carry out the Bonus written on the Boss card and keep the card in front of you for Points.
  4. Did you lose this time? If your roll is less than the required roll, you suffer defeat. The player to your left has the option to fight the Boss by paying the roll cost and rolling the numbered die. Alternatively, they may choose to pass the opportunity to the next player, and so forth.
  5. Players continue to take turns battling the Boss, paying for each roll, until either someone emerges triumphant or all players opt to pass. If all players pass, the Boss escapes and is removed from the game.

The Game Ends

The game concludes instantly when the final Boss Fight comes to an end. The player with the highest score becomes the ultimate victor!

Here’s how you can figure out your score. Just add up the points from your Property cards, Boss cards, and Coins. For every five Coins you have, you get 10 points. To make it easier, stack your golden Coins in sets of five when you count.

Let me show you an example. Say you own 3 Properties, defeated 2 Bosses, and have 13 Coins.

How to play Monopoly Gamer Official Rules UltraFoodMess

If there’s a tie, the player with the most Property and Boss cards wins!

Playing with Two or Three Players

If you’re playing with three players, only use these Boss cards: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. If it’s just two players, stick to the basic rules but make these changes:

Setting Up

Choose two Characters and put both of their tokens on GO. Keep the Character cards face-up in front of you so you can see their powers.

Everyone starts with 20 Coins.

When making the Boss deck, only use these Boss cards: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8.

Playing the Game

On my turn, I get to choose one Character to play with after rolling both dice. Once that Character’s turn is over, I have to flip their card facedown. When a Character card is facedown, I can’t use that Character anymore.

Let’s say I have Mario and Donkey Kong. I start by using Mario on my first turn and then I flip his card facedown.

Here’s an example: If I roll a 7, my opponent gets to decide which of their Characters has to drop Coins, and none of my Characters have to drop any. But if I roll a 5, it only affects my opponent’s Character, not my own.

If it’s my turn and one of my Characters is in Jail, I have a decision to make. I can either pay or roll the dice to try and get that Character out of Jail before I take my turn. It’s important to make this decision before I roll both dice.

Now let’s talk about Party Mode. In Party Mode, I can play as more than one Character! I have the option to create a team of up to three Characters and switch them in and out as I play. If I want to get more Characters, I can purchase Monopoly Gamer Power Packs.

Keep in mind that Party Mode is not available in all markets and each pack is sold separately. It’s best to play Party Mode with three or four players who have a big collection of Characters and are experienced with the basic game. If you’re playing with just two players, check out the 2-player rules.

When playing Party Mode, follow the basic game rules, but there are a few changes to keep in mind.

To set up the game, follow these steps:

    1. When we start playing, each of us can choose two or three Characters. Make sure to grab the tokens and Character cards for the Characters you choose.
    2. One of our Characters will be the first to start the game. Put their Character Token on GO. Remember, we can only have one Character on the board at a time. We can’t have the same Character on the board at the same time as the other player. For example, if we both want to have Mario in our party, only one of us can have Mario on the board at a time. The youngest player gets to decide which Character they want to play as first.
    Changing Characters

You can switch your Character on the board with one of your other Characters whenever you want on your turn.

You can only switch Characters once per turn, but you can do it in a way that lets one of your Characters move and the other use their Power-up Ability.

    End of the Game

In Party Mode, when the final Boss Fight is finished, the game comes to a close right away. To calculate your points, follow the basic game rules.
