You and I just need to apply a label to each side of the action die. It doesn’t matter how we arrange them, as long as there’s one on each side.

Getting Ready

Here’s what we need to do:

1. We should make sure the HP chips are within easy reach for all players.
2. We have to shuffle the loot chest and Storm cards separately and place them face down.
3. If we have enough space, we can put the location cards next to their matching board spaces. But if not, we can stack them and choose someone to be in charge of them.
4. Each one of us will start the game with this:
5. To decide who goes first, we’ll all roll the numbered die. The person who rolls the highest number gets to choose their starting space and puts their character there. The order of character placement will go to the left. But remember, on our first turn, we don’t do the action that goes with our starting space.

Remember: you can never have more than 15 HP. If you have 15 HP and any action requires you to collect more, do not collect any.

If you placed your character first, you go first. The game continues in a clockwise direction.

How to Play

1. Roll both dice and do the following in any order:
   • Move: Move your character forward the number of spaces rolled.
   • Action: Carry out the action shown on your action die.
2. At the end of your turn, if you landed on or passed GO, flip over the top Storm card. The eye of the Storm is shrinking!

At any point during your turn, you can offer to trade locations and/or loot chest card items with other players.

When I land on a spot that doesn’t belong to anyone and hasn’t been taken by the Storm, I can claim it! And guess what? I don’t have to pay a single coin! I get the location card, just like that, for free!

Here’s a cool tip to remember: if I manage to claim all the spots in a color group, every time I land on any of those spots, I’ll get 2 HP. That’s a pretty neat bonus, don’t you think?

Hey there! So, here’s the deal. When you step on a spot that another player already claimed, you gotta pay the amount of HP shown on the board to the Bank. Bummer, right?

Now, things get even trickier. If you land on a location that the Storm took over, you gotta pay the number of HP shown on the Storm-side of the spot’s card to the Bank. And get this, the crazy part is that you pay more HP when the Storm takes over a location. Yikes! So, watch out for that.

Oh, and don’t forget about Go!

If you land on or go past GO, you’ll get 2 HP from the Bank. And don’t forget, at the end of your turn, you’ll need to flip over the top Storm card. The Storm can be tricky, so watch out! If the Storm has already reached the GO space, you won’t get the 2 HP bonus anymore. But don’t worry, you can still draw Storm cards for a chance to win. When you arrive at this spot, you’ll get a loot chest card. There are two types of loot chest card items: a. items that will affect your game for the duration, and b. items for one-time use. You can use multiple items in one turn, and some combinations can be really powerful. You can keep the one-time use cards until you’re ready to use them, but remember, you can only use them on your turn. Once you use a one-time use card, put it back at the bottom of the loot chest deck. If you draw a health item and already have the maximum of 15 HP, you can save it for later. Just remember, you can’t have more than 15 HP.

Just Visiting

When you land here, put your character on the Just Visiting space.

Go Directly to Jail

When you land on the space that says “Go to Jail,” you must follow these instructions:

1. Immediately move your game piece to the Jail space. If the Storm has taken over the Jail space, you lose 2 Health Points (HP), but you are not actually in Jail. On your next turn, you can move normally.
2. Draw a Storm card and place it on the corresponding space on the board. Since you are in Jail, you cannot collect 2 HP for passing GO. Your turn ends after this.

Being in Jail

Even while you’re in Jail, other players can still attack you.

If the Storm takes over the Jail space while you are already in Jail, you do not lose 2 HP.

How to Get Out of Jail?

• If you want to get out of Jail, you have two options:
• Pay 2 HP to the Bank before you roll the dice for your turn. After paying, roll both dice and take your turn as you normally would. OR

Rolling the Dice and Escaping Jail

When playing the game, one crucial aspect is rolling the dice. Let me explain how it works when you find yourself in Jail.

• First, roll the numbered die. If you happen to get a 6, congratulations! You can get out of Jail without any cost or penalty. You can then proceed with your turn as usual.
• In case you don’t roll a 6 on your first attempt, your turn ends, and you remain in Jail. But don’t worry! You get a second try. Roll the die again.
• If you still don’t roll a 6 on your second attempt, you can still escape Jail, but this time it won’t cost you anything. You can leave Jail for free, and on your next turn, you can roll both dice as you normally would.

Now, here’s an important exception to keep in mind. If the Jail space is taken by the Storm, you won’t lose HP (health points) for every turn you spend in Jail. Instead, you will lose 2 HP just once.

And here’s some good news for you. If you happen to be on the Jail space when the Storm takes control of it, you get to leave Jail without any consequences. You can move normally on your next turn as if you were never in Jail.

The Action Die

When you roll the action die, something special happens. It’s important to remember that you have to complete the action before the next player rolls the dice. If you wait too long, you’ll miss your chance!

After your turn ends, pick up the top Storm card. It will show you which space the Storm is covering. The card will instruct you to put it on a specific board space, or, if the Storm is covering a location, the card will tell you to place that location’s card with the Storm side facing up on that space.

If you land on a location that the Storm has covered, you have to pay the number of HP (health points) shown on the card to the Bank. If you land on any other board space that the Storm has covered, you have to pay 2 HP to the Bank.

If the Storm has taken a space, you can’t perform the action associated with that space.

Once the Storm cards are in place, they cannot be moved. If the Storm takes a space while you’re standing on it, you don’t lose 2 HP.

What happens if I run out of HP?

Once you run out of HP, you’re out of the game! Here’s what happens:

1. Remove your character from the board.
2. If you have any loot chest items, place them on the space where you lost your last HP. The next player to pass or land on that space gets to pick them up!
3. Put any location cards you have on their matching board spaces, Storm-side up. The Storm has taken them!

End of the Game

The game comes to an end when there’s only one player left standing.
