Welcome to the Monopoly Deadpool Game Rules!

I’m here to break down all the essential information you need to know to play the Monopoly Deadpool game! So, let’s get started.

The Monopoly Deadpool game is played just like the classic Monopoly, but with a Marvel twist. Instead of properties, you’ll be buying comic book covers featuring characters from the Deadpool universe. Your goal is to build a collection of covers and have the highest total value at the end of the game.

When it’s your turn, roll the dice and move your token around the board. Depending on the space you land on, different actions will happen. You might have to pay rent if you land on someone else’s cover, or you might have the chance to buy a new one for your collection.

If you land on a Deadpool space, something outrageous is bound to happen! You might gain some bonus value for your covers or even have the chance to steal one from another player!

As you buy more covers, you can start upgrading them to increase their value. The more valuable your collection, the better chance you have of winning the game.

But be careful! Just like in the classic Monopoly game, you can also go bankrupt if you run out of money. The winner is the player with the highest total value of covers and money at the end of the game.

So, are you ready to dive into the world of Monopoly Deadpool? Grab your tokens and get ready for an exciting and hilarious game that’s sure to keep you entertained for hours!

Welcome to Monopoly: Deadpool Edition, where things get longer and stronger! In this version of the game, you get to build your own team of Mercs for Money by purchasing the contracts of the world’s best mercenaries. You’ll encounter Deadpool’s allies, Deadpools from alternate universes, and even Deadpool himself wearing a fancy little maid outfit. When other players land on your mercs, they’ll have to pay you a fee. It’s all about wheeling and dealing, buying vehicles like a chimichanga truck, and getting back at your friends with the cheap shot and low blow spaces. It’s like Deadpool meets the classic game of MONOPOLY – a combination that’s as perfect as peanut butter and fried trout.

  1. Okay, let’s start by having someone read these rules to all of us. My bet is on you, the person reading this right now.
  2. Now, let’s make sure each player has:
  3. The Bank’s money
  4. Headquarters
  5. D-Mansions
  6. Contract cards
  7. Auctions
  8. Kicking little old ladies out of their houses (just kidding, that’s only allowed in real life)

Oh, and the Evil Heartless Banker can join in the fun too, but they have to keep their money separate from the Bank, of course.

First things first, let’s settle our differences over who gets to use the taco token. The winner can proudly claim it as their own, while the rest of us will have to settle for non-taco tokens. Once we’ve sorted that out, we can place our tokens on GO and get this game started.

Before we begin, remember not to store the dice in strange places like the refrigerator or your fanny pack. Trust me, it happens more often than you think.

The Goal of the Game

Our mission is to navigate the gameboard, hiring as many Mercenaries and purchasing as many Sweet Rides as possible. The more assets we own, the more money we can accumulate.

If we’re lucky enough to be the last player standing with money while everyone else has gone bankrupt, victory is ours! Although, deep down, we might still feel a sense of emptiness. Winning isn’t everything…

How to Play

We start by each rolling both dice. The player with the highest roll goes first, and then we take turns moving clockwise from there.

  1. Roll the dice and move forward the number of spaces indicated.
  2. So, where did you land? Let’s check out THE BOARD SPACES section of this guide. Oh, and by the way, did you roll a double? If you did, then you’re in luck! Roll the dice again, you wonderful dice hog, and take another turn. But hold on tight, because if you manage to roll a double 3 times in a row, well, my friend, you’re going straight to jail!
  3. Alright, your turn is done. It’s time for the player on your left to shine.

The Board Spaces

Mercenaries

Unhired Mercenaries

When I come across a Mercenary who hasn’t been hired by anyone, I have two options. I can either purchase their contract or put it up for auction.

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Do you want the Mercenary to join your team?

If you’re willing to pay the price shown on the board space, you can take the Mercenary’s Contract card.

Not interested in hiring the mercenary?

In that case, the Evil Heartless Banker will auction off their contract. Bidding starts at M1C, and all players can participate.

The Mercenaries You’ve Hired

If you land on a Mercenary that someone else has hired, you’ll have to pay that player the rent amount indicated on the Mercenary’s Contract card.

Build Headquarters by Collecting Color Sets!

You won’t be able to build Headquarters until you have a complete set of Mercenaries of the same color.

  • The rent for each Mercenary increases as soon as you complete a color set.
  • If you purchase Headquarters, the rent will increase even more!

Get ready, folks, because I’ve got some insider info that I’m about to spill! So, we all know about the game Monopoly, right? Well, let me tell you, there’s a little something called the “Free Parking” square that you might not have paid much attention to before. But trust me, it’s a game-changer.

Now, here’s the deal. Normally, when you land on Free Parking, nothing happens. It’s just a pit stop, a break from the crazy, money-grabbing madness of the game. But let me share a little secret with you – if you and your buddies decide to play by a different set of rules, you could turn Free Parking into a cash bonanza.

Here’s how it goes down. Every time a player has to pay a fine, like a chance card penalty or rent, that money gets put into the middle of the board – right on top of Free Parking. And this is where it gets juicy – if you land on Free Parking, you get to scoop up all that sweet moolah!

Imagine it, my friends – rolling the dice, landing on Free Parking, and BAM! You’re suddenly the proud owner of a stack of cash. It’s like winning the lottery, but in Monopoly form. And let me tell you, it can elevate the game to a whole new level of excitement.

But, of course, there’s always a catch. While snagging all that money in Free Parking can be thrilling, it’s also a double-edged sword. You see, Free Parking is a limited resource – once it’s been cleaned out, it’s back to being just another square on the board. So, be careful, my friends, and use your Free Parking winnings wisely. And remember, if the player who owns the contract forgets to ask for rent before the next person rolls the dice, you’re off the hook – no payment required!

So, let’s talk about some of the awesome rides you can turn your Monopoly money into. I’m talking luxury homes, swanky apartments, and if you really want to go big, you can upgrade to D-Mansions! Just imagine lounging by the pool, sipping on a cool beverage, all thanks to your Free Parking fortune.

But, as with anything in life, it’s important to stay alert and keep an eye out for potential pitfalls. Sure, Free Parking can be a game-changer, but it’s not the be-all and end-all of Monopoly. So, take it all in stride and remember that the true joy of the game comes from the thrill of the chase, the ups, the downs, and the unexpected twists and turns.

So, my friends, if you’re ready to inject a little excitement into your next Monopoly showdown, why not give the Free Parking rule a whirl? It could just be the secret weapon you’ve been looking for, the edge that sets you apart from the pack. Trust me, once you experience the thrill of scooping up that Free Parking cash, there’s no turning back.

Now go forth, my fellow Monopoly enthusiasts, and may the dice be ever in your favor!

Awesome Cars Up for Grabs

Imagine stumbling upon a flashy car that no one else owns! You’re in luck – you have two options: either buy it or put it up for auction.

Want to Make It Yours?

If you’re interested, just pay the price listed on the board space, and voila! The car is yours. You’ll even get a fancy Contract card to seal the deal.

Don’t Wanna Buy It?

Well, guess what? The Evil Heartless Banker is gonna auction it! You can start bidding at M10. And get this, all players can bid. That’s right, it’s open to everyone!

Check Out These Cool Cars

Imagine cruising around in someone else’s fancy ride. When you land on a Sweet Ride that someone already owns, you gotta pay up. It’s like rent, you know? How much you pay in rent depends on how many Sweet Rides the owner has. The more they have, the more you gotta fork over. So watch out!

Action Spaces

Hey there! Let’s talk about action spaces. You might be wondering, what exactly is an action space? Well, I’m here to break it down for you.

An action space is a term used to describe the range of actions available to a person in a particular situation. It’s like a toolbox full of options that you can choose from. Each action in the action space has the potential to lead to a different outcome.

Think of it this way. Imagine you’re playing a video game. In that game, you have a character that you control. The action space for that character consists of all the different moves they can make – jumping, punching, kicking, and so on. The choice of action you make will determine what happens next in the game.

The concept of action spaces isn’t just limited to video games, though. Action spaces exist in all aspects of life. Whether you’re at school, at work, or even just hanging out with friends, you always have a range of choices available to you. These choices can be big or small, but they all contribute to shaping the outcome of your situation.

Understanding action spaces is important because it reminds us that we have agency over our lives. We are not just passive observers, but active participants who can make decisions that influence our circumstances. By recognizing the range of choices available to us, we can make more intentional decisions and take actions that align with our goals and values.

So, next time you find yourself in a situation, remember to consider your action space. Think about the different choices you have, and how each choice might affect the outcome. By doing this, you’ll be able to make more informed decisions and take control of your own destiny.

Cheap Shot

Hey there! So, when you land on the Cheap Shot space, you’re gonna wanna grab yourself a cool M100 from the player who’s got the least moolah. Yep, besides you, of course.

Now, if there happens to be a little tie going on, just go ahead and snag that cash from whichever tied player strikes your fancy. It’s your call!

Below the Belt

Hey there! When you hit the Below the Belt spot, you can snag a Mercenary or Sweet Ride from any of your fellow players. It’s like a little sneak attack, but all in good fun!

On the Go

Guess what? When you make it to the On the Go space, you get to take any Mercenary or Sweet Ride that you want from another player. It’s like you’ve got the magic touch!

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

If you land on or pass the GO space, you get M200 from the Bank.

Hey there! Let’s dive into an exciting game. Grab the first card from the pile that matches what you’re looking for and follow the instructions right away. Once you’re done, put the card back at the bottom of the pile. Easy peasy!

Let’s Pay the Pool!

Hey there! I need you to do something for me. Take the money that’s written on the space and place it in the middle of the board. We call that spot the “dead pool”.

Free Parking Fun

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Hey there! If you happen to land right on this spot, you’ll hit the jackpot – that’s where all the money is! Sweet, right?

Only Paying a Visit

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

No need to fret! If you find yourself ending up in this spot, simply place your token in the “Just Visiting” area. You’ll make all your incarcerated pals in jail feel elated to have you pay them a visit.

Take a Trip to Jail

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When you find yourself in Jail, you need to take action. Move your token to the In Jail space right away. But don’t expect any rewards for passing GO this time. Your turn will be over once you’ve landed in Jail.

However, being In Jail doesn’t mean you’re completely out of the game. You can still do a few things while you’re there. Rent, auctions, buying Headquarters and D-Mansions, and even putting things out-of-commission are all still on the table. You can also trade with other players as usual.

Wondering how to escape from Jail?

You actually have three options:

  1. Pay M50 at the beginning of your next turn, then roll the dice and move forward as usual.
  2. Use a Get Out of Jail Free card at the start of your next turn if you have one. Alternatively, you can buy one from another player. Just remember to put the card at the bottom of the pile after use, then roll the dice and make your move.
  3. Roll a double on your next turn. If you can manage this, congratulations! You’re free to go. Use the roll you get to move forward. Keep in mind that you have up to three turns to try for a double. If, by your third turn in Jail, you still haven’t rolled a double, you’ll need to pay M50 and use your last roll to move ahead.

Let’s Talk About Buildings

My Journey with Building Headquarters

Hey there! I’m excited to talk to you about my amazing experience with building headquarters. Let me take you on a journey to explore the fascinating world of construction, where dreams become reality.

When I first started thinking about building my own headquarters, I was overwhelmed with options. But I soon realized that there are a few key factors to consider when embarking on such a project.

First and foremost, it’s crucial to understand the importance of location. The right location will set the stage for success. You want to choose a spot that is easily accessible and visible to attract customers and clients. So, imagine scouting for that perfect spot, with all the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead.

Next, the design of the building is equally important. It’s not just about functionality but also about making a statement. You want your headquarters to reflect your unique brand and vision. Just picture yourself in awe of the sleek lines, the modern architecture, and the way it stands tall as a symbol of your success.

Once you have a location and design in mind, it’s time to think about the actual construction. This is where the magic happens. From laying the foundation to raising the walls and putting on the finishing touches, every step brings you closer to your dream becoming a reality. Picture yourself witnessing the progress, amazed by the craftsmanship and the dedicated work of the builders.

But it doesn’t end there. Building headquarters is not just about the physical structure. It’s also about the people who will inhabit it. You’ll have the opportunity to create a space that fosters collaboration, creativity, and productivity. Picture yourself walking through the halls and seeing your team thriving in their new environment.

Finally, imagine the moment when you step back and look at your completed headquarters. The pride and satisfaction that will fill your heart as you see everything come together. It’s a moment that you’ll cherish forever.

So, my friend, if you’re considering building your own headquarters, I encourage you to embark on this incredible journey. It may seem daunting at first, but with careful planning, the right team, and a clear vision, you can create a space that will elevate your business to new heights.

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

As soon as you have a set of colorful Mercenaries, you can start creating Headquarters without having to wait for your turn. You just need to pay the Bank the cost price indicated on the Contract card and place a Headquarters on the Mercenary. Make sure to build evenly – you can’t add a second Headquarters to a Mercenary until you’ve already built one on each Mercenary in the set. Keep in mind that you can only have up to 4 Headquarters on a single Mercenary.

Now, let’s talk about building D-mansions.

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

Hey there! So, here’s the deal – you know when you have 4 Headquarters all decked out in a full-color set on your Mercenaries? Well, guess what? You can totally level up and make your dreams come true by upgrading to a D-Mansion, which is like a Wilson’s School for Gifted Mercenaries!

All you gotta do is pay the cost price indicated on the Contract card, return those 4 Headquarters back to the Bank, and pop a shiny new D-Mansion on your Mercenary. Simple as that!

Now, just a heads up – you can only have one D-Mansion per Mercenary, so no stocking up on those bad boys. And oh, you can’t add any more Headquarters once you’ve upgraded.

But, here’s the catch – you can’t build on a Mercenary if any Mercenary in its color set is out-of-commission. Gotta keep the squad intact, you know?

What if there aren’t enough buildings?

Well, if there’s a situation where multiple players are vying for the last Headquarters or D-Mansion, then the Evil Heartless Banker has to step in and auction it off. Bids start at M10, so bring your A-game!

But what if there’s not a single building left?

In that case, tough luck, my friend. You won’t be able to buy any buildings until somebody decides to sell theirs back. Gotta keep an eye out for those opportunities!

Ah, the thrill of auctions!

If you land on a Mercenary or Sweet Ride and you don’t wanna buy the contract, the Evil Heartless Banker has to auction it off.

  1. The Evil Heartless Banker starts the auction by offering the contract to everyone for M10.
  2. Anyone can increase the bid by as little as M1 (even the Evil Heartless Banker and the player who originally landed on the space).
  3. The person with the highest bid wins the auction, pays the Bank, and gets the Contract card.

What if no one wants it?

That’s okay. Nobody has to pay anything.

Deals & Trades

You can buy, sell, or trade Mercenaries and Sweet Rides with other players whenever you want.

If you wanna sell or trade a Mercenary’s contract, you have to sell all the buildings on that color set to the Bank first. You can’t sell buildings to other players.

When you have Mercenaries or Sweet Rides in the game of trade, you have the power to exchange them for money, other Mercenaries and Sweet Rides, or Get Out of Jail Free cards. It’s up to the players involved in the transaction to agree on the value of the exchange.

If you happen to have a Mercenary or Sweet Ride that is no longer functional, you can still trade it. The price will be determined through negotiation.

Once you become the new owner of a Mercenary or Sweet Ride, you have two options:

  • Put it back into working order: You can pay the Bank the cost to fix it and bring it back into commission.
  • Keep it out of commission: If you choose to leave it as is, you must pay the Bank 10% of its current value.

Uh-oh! I Don’t Have Enough Money

Try to Raise Money.

How to play Monopoly Deadpool Official Rules UltraFoodMess

If you owe money and can’t pay, there are a few ways you can try to raise money. One option is to sell buildings that you own or make them inactive.

To sell buildings, you can sell D-Mansions to the Bank for half the original price and immediately exchange them for 4 Headquarters. Then, you can sell these Headquarters to the Bank for half the cost price. Just remember that when selling Headquarters, you need to do it evenly across the color set.

Another way to raise money is by putting things out-of-commission. If you want to put a Mercenary out-of-commission, you first need to sell all buildings in its color set to the Bank for half their original cost price. To put any item out-of-commission, you need to turn the Contract card facedown and collect the out-of-commission value from the Bank. However, if you want to put something back in commission, you’ll have to pay the back-in-commission cost to the Bank, which is the out-of-commission value plus 10%. Once you’ve made the payment, you can turn the card faceup again.

Renting is not possible for Mercenaries or Sweet Rides that are not functional. However, the increased rent can still be collected for operational Mercenaries of the same color, even if some other Mercenaries are not functional. (Are you still following along? Is this even understandable? Am I real? Is any of this real?) The increased rent for operational Sweet Rides can be collected in the same manner.

Do you have debts with another player?
  • Restore it to operational status by paying the Bank the cost to make it functional again.
  • Or keep it out-of-commission (just pay the Bank 10% of the value when not functional).

Do you owe money to the Bank?

Give back all your Mercenaries and Sweet Rides to the Bank.

Well, it’s time to part ways with all of your Mercenaries and Sweet Rides. They’re heading to the auction block! And if any of them were out-of-commission, don’t worry, they’re automatically back-in-commission now.

But that’s not all. If you had any Get Out of Jail Free cards, it’s time to return them to the bottom of the pile.

Now, the remaining players will continue playing until only one person is left standing. And guess what? That lucky player is not just a winner but also the genius behind the legendary Mercs for Money team!
