The Objective

Game Setup

Before we start our first game, let’s prepare everything:

To get ready for the game, follow these steps:

That’s all you need to do to set up the game. Now we’re ready to play!

When it’s time to play, you get to pick a monster card, any one you like! Put it right in front of you where you can see it. Now we’re ready to have some fun!

So here’s how you play the game. First, grab the Game cards for the level you want to play – beginner or advanced. Give them a good shuffle and then place them face down in the middle of the table.

Now, it’s time to set up the game board. Take 3 cards from the pile and put them in a line next to it. This will be your starting point. Oh, and don’t forget about the 6 Dessert pieces! Make sure they’re within everyone’s reach.

Ready? Let’s get started! First, everyone plays at the same time. Choose a monster to roll the die. The die will show you which dessert is at the beginning of the food chain. Exciting, right? Your job is to quickly spot this dessert on the Starting card, which is the card right next to the pile.

Now, here comes the fun part! Follow the licorice line from the dessert you rolled to find the dessert at the other end. And guess what? You have to find that dessert on the second card and follow the licorice line again to find a third dessert.

Keep going! Do the same for the third card. When you find the final dessert, guess what you need to do? You need to grab the wooden token that matches that dessert. It’s like a prize for finding the right dessert!

But remember, you have to be quick! The first monster to grab the correct token wins the round. So keep your eyes peeled and don’t let those sneaky monsters beat you!

In the game, the winner gets the third card, which is placed facedown under their Monster card. They can tell from the back that they’ve just devoured a delicious dessert!

Be careful: A monster can only take one dessert at a time. If you make a mistake, you’re out of the round!

After the round ends, put the wooden desserts back on the table.

New Round

Move the cards to the right in the line. Flip a card from the pile to become the new Starting card. Roll the dice and keep playing!

End of the Game

The game ends when a monster gobbles up a fifth dessert.
