Now that we have that covered, let’s move on to the setup:
- Place the game board in the middle of the table, within reach of all players.
Hey there! Let’s talk about how to play Lift Off, the fantastic board game that will take you on an interplanetary adventure. I’ll guide you through the rules to set you up for success. Let’s dive right in!
First, let’s talk about the number of players. If you have three players, you’ll need to return all specialist and mission cards with the number “4” in the bottom-left corner to the game box. And if you’re playing with just two players, put back all the specialist and mission cards with the numbers “3” or “4” in the bottom left corner.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let’s move on to the next step. Are you ready?
Getting Started: First, let’s set up the game. You’ll need some specialist cards, so go ahead and shuffle them up. Put them face down next to the board and make sure there’s room for a discard pile.
Now, let’s get the mission cards ready. Separate them into four levels: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Shuffle each level separately. Place the level 1 and 2 decks on the corresponding spaces on the game board. The level 3 and 4 decks aren’t available at the start, so set those aside along with the phase 2 overlay.
Next, we’ll deal with the space station and player colors. Put the space station tokens next to the game board. Each player should choose a color and take the wooden rockets that match. If you’re playing with three players, put two rockets of the unused color on the space station track. One rocket goes on a “6” space and the other goes on the “8” space. If you’re playing with two players, place three rockets: one on each of the “6” spaces and one on the “8” space. And that’s it for setup! We’re ready to start exploring space.
Let’s get started with a game of Lift Off! Here’s how you can set up a two-player game: |
First, you’ll need a game board. Place it on a flat surface in the center of the playing area. Each player sits opposite each other and gets their own set of game pieces. These game pieces should include spaceships, astronauts, and countdown tiles.
Next, shuffle the mission cards and place them face-down next to the game board. These mission cards represent the different tasks that players need to complete during the game.
Now, both players can choose their spaceships and astronauts. Each player can place their spaceship in their own starting area on the game board. Make sure the spaceships are facing towards the center of the board.
Once the spaceships are in position, each player selects a countdown tile and places it face-down in front of them. These countdown tiles represent the number of turns left before the launch.
To determine who goes first, you can flip a coin or use any other fair method. The first player flips their countdown tile face-up to start the game.
On their turn, each player can move their spaceship or their astronaut. The number of spaces they can move is determined by the number on their countdown tile. Players can move their pieces in any direction (up, down, left, or right), but they cannot move diagonally.
When a player moves their spaceship, they can choose to pick up a mission card from the deck. This card assigns them a specific task to complete, such as landing on a specific planet or collecting a certain number of space rocks.
When a player moves their astronaut, they can choose to perform an action based on their location on the game board. They can repair a spaceship, collect a resource, or interact with other game elements. Each action has its own set of rules and benefits.
The game continues with players taking turns until one player’s countdown tile reaches zero. At that point, the player can launch their spaceship and complete their final mission. The other player has one more turn to try and catch up.
Once both players have completed their final missions, the game ends. The player with the most mission points wins the game and becomes the ultimate space explorer!
So, are you ready to embark on an intergalactic adventure in Lift Off? Grab a friend, set up the game, and get ready to explore the cosmos like never before. May the best astronaut win!
Technology Cards: Did you know that there are four different colors of technology cards? They represent important aspects of our lives: Fuel (red), Energy (yellow), Life Support (blue), and Food (green). These cards play a vital role in shaping our world.
In order to set up the game, we need to take a few steps. First, let’s talk about the Technology cards. It’s important to note that the colors of these cards don’t represent the player colors in any way. Remember, each player’s color will be determined by their chosen game piece. So, for now, let’s separate the Technology cards by color and place them next to the game board with the “1” side facing up.
Now, onto the money! We’ll need to choose one player to be the banker. This player will be responsible for handling all the money in the game. Place the money tokens next to the game board near the banker. Don’t worry about the amount of money available – players can always make change as needed, and there’s no limit to the amount of money in the game.
Starting Player and Score Markers: First, we need to decide who will be the starting player. This can be determined by the player who has most recently been in space or by the youngest player. Once the starting player has been determined, they will take the first player rocket. The starting player then places one of their wooden rockets on space 2 of the scoring track.
After that, we move on to the other players. Starting with the player to the left of the starting player and moving clockwise, each player places one of their rockets on the scoring track. The rocket should be placed two spaces higher than the previous player’s rocket. For example, in a four-player game, the rockets would be placed on spaces 2, 4, 6, and 8.
To keep track of scores, we use score tokens. Place the 100/200 score tokens next to the 0/100 space of the scoring track. This will allow you to easily see and update your score throughout the game.
Objective Cards: Another important component of the game is the objective cards. These cards will help guide your gameplay and provide different goals to strive for. To set up the objective cards, shuffle the deck and deal three cards facedown to each player. These cards will remain secret until later in the game.
Remember, the objective cards are an important part of the game, so make sure to keep them hidden from other players. Any remaining objective cards should be returned to the game box without looking at them. These cards will not be used during this round of play.
Now that the starting player has been determined, the score markers have been placed, and the objective cards have been dealt, we are ready to begin the game. Good luck and have fun!
Player setup: First, grab a player board, a lab, and a two-part rocket that matches your color. Place the level 5/6 labs next to the game board. Put any extra player boards, rockets, and level 5/8 labs back in the game box. Are you ready? Let’s get started!
Rocket Upgrades: Put the upgrade tokens for capacity and propulsion in everyone’s color next to the game board. Make sure the icons on the tokens are facing up.
Player Setup:
Getting Ready
- First, place your player board in front of you, and make sure there’s enough room for cards and tokens on both sides.
- Next, grab your trusty lab, and place it on the left side of the player board with the cool-looking side facing up. Throughout the game, you’ll have a chance to upgrade your lab and eventually swap it out for a snazzy level-up card.
- Now, take a look at the right side of your player board. You’ll see four different colored notches. Each of these notches is a special spot for a different color of technology card. As you play, you’ll gain access to these cards, so get ready to expand your technological horizons!
- Put your two-part rocket on the left side of your lab and make sure the icons are facing up.
I’ll walk you through the various components of the Lift Off game board. We’ll start with the cost track, represented by the red bar on the left. This track shows the current amount of money required to launch a rocket. To begin, place one of your rockets on the 5″ space of the cost track.
Next, we have the weight track, marked by the black bar on the right. This track displays the maximum weight your rocket can carry. Put one of your rockets on the “1” space of the weight track.
Moving on, we have the income track, represented by the green bar at the bottom of the board. This track indicates the money you receive each round. You can place one of your rockets on the “5” space of the income track.
Now let’s talk about gaining and spending money in the game. Effects that require you to spend money, like launching a rocket, are denoted by a red icon. On the other hand, effects that allow you to gain money are shown with a green icon, such as the income track.
That’s all for the various elements of the Lift Off game board. Keep these in mind as you play, and have fun exploring the game’s mechanics and strategies!
When you’re preparing to play the game, it’s important to make sure you have enough space for your mission cards. These cards will be either on Earth, waiting to be launched, or in space, after being launched. Keep the cards that are on Earth next to the base of your rocket, and place the cards that are in space next to the top of your rocket. It’s best to keep these areas separate so you don’t get confused.
Getting Ready
Before the game starts, we’ll need to do a few things. First, we need to choose objective cards, which will help us set our goals. Then, we’ll need to have some money to start with, and we’ll also draw some specialist cards to give us special abilities. Once we’ve done all of that, we’ll be ready to begin!
Okay, here’s how it works. First, we have to draft the three objective cards that we were dealt during the setup. You pick one card to keep and pass the other two to the player on your left.
Then, we get to choose two cards from the three that we’re currently holding. The remaining card gets passed to the player on our left.
Now, here’s the neat part. You have the option to pass a card that you previously kept. So, by the end of the drafting process, you’ll have your three objective cards for this game.
After that, the banker gives each of us ten money. And finally, we each get to draw three specialist cards, facedown.
So, what’s the goal of the game?
In Lift Off, my goal is to create the most prestigious space agency by earning the most victory points (). When the game ends, the player with the most points wins.
Let’s talk about how the game is played. Specialists come in handy here – they help improve technologies, upgrade rockets and labs, invest in the space station, and make rocket loading and launching more efficient.
Now, rockets are your ticket to launching missions into space and earning valuable victory points for your agency. Each time you score points, your rocket moves up on the score track. If your score goes above 100 or 200, you can use score markers to keep track.
Lift Off is divided into two phases, each with four rounds. The first phase begins at the start of the game, and then we continue to the second phase after the fourth round. Once the eighth round is complete, the game is over, and we calculate the final scores.
So remember, your mission is to become the top space agency by scoring the most victory points. Plan your moves wisely and make the most of your specialists to secure your place among the stars.
Hey there! Let’s go over the steps of each round:
- First, I’ll take income and draw new specialist cards.
- Then, I’ll draft specialist cards and play two of them.
- Next, I’ll draw mission cards and place them on Earth.
- After that, I’ll launch rockets to send mission cards into space.
- Finally, I’ll discard the specialist cards that I’ve already played.
Income And Specialists
1. Take income and draw new specialist cards
When each round begins, I’ll receive money from the banker. The amount will be equal to the current value on my income track. I’ll also have the chance to draw two new specialist cards.
Exception: Please note that I’ll skip step 1 during the first round of the game.
2. Draft and play specialists
Okay, so now we all have three specialist cards. The first step is to pick which way we’re passing the specialists this time, either to the left or the right.
Then, we each choose one specialist card from our hand to keep and pass the other two cards to the next player in the chosen direction of the draft.
After that, we choose two specialist cards from our hand to keep and pass the remaining card to the next player in the same direction as before. You can even choose to pass a card you’ve already kept during the draft.
Once we’re done with the draft and everyone has three specialist cards in hand, we start playing. The starting player goes first, and we continue in the same direction as the draft. Each player plays and resolves one specialist card from their hand.
Once all of us have played one specialist card, we each get to play and resolve a second specialist card. We’ll go around the table in the same order as before. By the time we play these specialists, we’ll only have one card left in our hands for the next round.
Every specialist card has a blue or yellow banner in the top right corner. And each card has one or two actions connected to it. When we play a specialist card, we automatically get the effect shown on the banner. Then we have a choice: either do the actions on the card or take some money instead.
When I play a specialist, the effects from blue banners are instantly resolved. It’s like a magical burst of energy! I get three money , which I can use to buy cool stuff, or five points , which help me win the game. These blue banners give me an immediate boost!
But wait, there’s more! The effects from yellow banners are a little different. They don’t happen right away. Instead, they come into play later in the round when I launch missions. It’s like a surprise waiting to unfold. I better keep an eye out for these yellow banners and plan my moves accordingly.
When you use a specialist card, you have the option to do one or both of the actions that are listed on the card. If a specialist card has two actions, there is a line that separates the actions.
If a specialist card has two actions, you can choose the order in which you perform the actions. However, you must finish one action before you start the next one.
So, you have a decision to make. When playing this game, you can choose to take the action on the card or, if you prefer, you can just take two money instead. Sometimes it’s a smart move to go for the money.
The Missions
Step 3: Draw Mission Cards and Place Them on Earth
Now, it’s time to choose a mission deck from the game board. Starting with the first player, everyone takes turns in a clockwise order. In phase 1, you can only pick from decks and . Decks and become available in phase 2.
Mission Decks |
When playing the game, I first need to draw three mission cards from the deck I chose. Then, out of those three cards, I get to choose one that I like and place it faceup on Earth, right next to my rocket.
After that, the other two cards go into the mission discard pile that corresponds to the deck I drew from. If the deck is empty, I need to shuffle the discard pile to create a new facedown mission deck.
I’m only allowed to have one copy of each mission, both on Earth and in space. This means that if I already have a copy of a mission card on Earth or in space, I can’t take another one, unless the individual card says otherwise.
If I’m not able to take any of the mission cards I drew, I have to keep drawing cards from the same deck, one at a time, until I get a card that I don’t already have. I have to take that card and discard all the others that I drew.
I can only have a maximum of seven mission cards from each deck. So if I already have seven cards from a deck, I can’t draw any more.
4. Send Mission Cards Into Space by Launching Rockets
To send mission cards from Earth into space, I have to launch rockets. This moves the cards from the Earth area to the space area next to my rocket.
Starting with the first player and going clockwise, each of us can send up to three missions into space by launching rockets. And, I can launch multiple rockets during this step.
To launch a rocket, I need to do the following:
- To send your rocket into space, you need a launch symbol from your lab or from the specialists you’ve played. Every lab has one launch symbol, but some specialists can give you more. Each launch symbol allows you to launch one rocket.
- Launching a rocket isn’t free – you have to pay for it! The cost of launching a rocket is shown on the cost track of your player board. However, some specialists can help reduce the cost of launching a rocket.
Your rocket needs to be able to handle the missions you want to send. The weight track on your player board shows how much your rocket can handle. Your rocket can handle missions as long as their combined weight is equal to or less than the capacity of your rocket. For example, if your rocket has a capacity of three, you can send up one mission that weighs three or less, or multiple missions that have a combined weight of three or less. If you have certain specialists, they can temporarily increase your rocket’s capacity for a single launch.
Your lab needs to be at a level that matches or exceeds the level of the missions you want to send. [Image: An image of how a lab level should match or exceed mission levels.]
To succeed in the mission, I have to make sure I meet the minimum technology requirements. It’s all spelled out on the game board above the mission decks. You see, there’s a list of requirements for each level. If there’s a slash between the requirements, that means I only need to meet one of them. Easy peasy, right? Oh, and here’s a fun fact: technology cards aren’t used up when I launch rockets. They actually keep track of how advanced I am in that particular technology. Pretty neat, huh?
If you meet all these conditions, you can launch a rocket and score some victory points for each launch, regardless of how many missions you sent up. The points you get depend on how good your lab is and what phase it’s in, as shown on the lab card.
Take the mission cards you sent up from Earth and move them to space. When missions are in space, they score you victory points and may have other effects.
Mission Card Structure and Effects
Some mission cards have victory points on the left side. When you send one of these missions to space, you get that many victory points.
When you play a mission, it has an effect shown on the lower half of the card. If there’s an hourglass symbol on the mission, its effect happens during the final scoring.
But if there’s no hourglass symbol, the effect happens right away when you send the mission into space. When you launch multiple missions in one go, you get to choose the order in which their effects happen.
Remember: If everyone knows how to play the game, you can all launch rockets at the same time.
What Happens at the End of the Round?
Once all players have launched their rockets, the round is over. Put aside the specialists you used this round, but keep the specialist cards you still have in your hand for the next round.
The player who started the round passes the starting player rocket to the player on their left. Then, you begin the next round by collecting income and drawing specialist cards.
Hey there! I want to talk to you about what happens in the game when we reach the end of the fourth round. You see, something special takes place during phase 2.
Now, when I say the “end of the fourth round,” I mean it’s the first time the specialist deck is empty by the end of that round. That’s when phase 1 comes to a close, and phase 2 begins.
But what happens when we get to the end of the eighth round? Well, that’s the second time the specialist deck is empty by the end of the round, and it’s also the end of the game. At this point, players need to wrap things up and go on to figure out their final scores.
Are you following me? Great! Let’s dive into phase 2 setup.
So, as I mentioned earlier, phase 1 ends and phase 2 starts when the specialist deck is empty at the end of the fourth round. At this point, it’s time to set up for phase 2.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Take the level and mission decks and place them in their respective spaces on the game board. These will be the available missions for level and level .
I’m going to rewrite this text, but keep the meaning and structure the same. I’ll use simpler language and a more conversational tone, while also varying the sentence lengths and structures for better readability. I’ll maintain the HTML markup as it is. Here’s my take:
- Put the phase 2 overlay on the corresponding spot on the game board, covering the previous requirements. Level missions now need more advanced technology.
Let’s start with the first player. You can discard as many objective cards as you want. For each card you discard, you’ll earn five money. Just remember to put the discarded cards back in the game box.
Once every player has had a chance to discard their objective cards, we move on to phase 2.
When the eighth round ends and the specialist deck is empty for the second time, that’s when the game ends. Then, we move on to final scoring.
Specialist Card Effects
Each specialist has a banner and either one or two actions. You’ll always get the effect of the banner, and you can choose to use one or both of the actions.
Banner Effects:
Hey there, guess what? You’re in luck! I’ve got a pretty awesome tip for you. How about instantly boosting your money stash? Yeah, sounds pretty great, right? Well, guess what? You can actually make that happen! All you’ve got to do is follow this little trick I’m about to share with you.
So, here’s the deal. If you want to increase your money, like, right now, there’s a super simple thing you can do. And it’s quick too, which is always a bonus. Ready for it?
Okay, so, what you wanna do is this: just snap your fingers and say “money, come to me!” Just kidding, that won’t work. But I did get your attention, right? Alright, alright, I’ll spill the beans. Here’s what you really need to do.
Listen closely, my friend. Take a look around your home and find three items you no longer need. Maybe it’s that old pile of clothes you haven’t worn in years or those collectibles that are just gathering dust. Anything goes, as long as it’s in decent condition.
Once you’ve found your three items, it’s time to sell them. Yep, you heard me right. Sell ’em! There are so many ways to do this nowadays. You can use online marketplaces, like eBay or Facebook Marketplace, or you can even organize a good ol’ yard sale. It’s up to you, really.
Now, here’s the cool part. When you sell these items, you’ll be surprised at how much extra cash you can make. It may not be a huge amount, but every little bit helps, right? And the best part is, it’s basically effortless!
So, what are you waiting for? Go on, dive into your closets, attic, basement, or wherever you keep your stuff, and start identifying those treasure troves. Then, get ready to say hello to some extra moolah in your wallet. You’ll thank me later!
When you launch rockets like I do, it’s an exhilarating experience. Not only do you get to witness the sheer power and force, but there’s also a sense of wonder and curiosity that fills the air. It’s like stepping into the unknown, where anything is possible.
But launching rockets is not just about the thrill and excitement. There are important factors that need to be considered to ensure a successful launch. First, you need to choose the right location. This is crucial because it determines the trajectory of the rocket and ensures that it reaches its intended target.
Next, you need to understand the mechanics of the rocket. How does it propel itself forward? What are the forces at play? By understanding these principles, you can make adjustments and improvements to optimize the performance of your rocket.
Another key factor is the weather. You have to take into account wind speed, humidity, and temperature. These variables can greatly affect the performance of your rocket. You want to wait for optimal weather conditions to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
And of course, safety is of utmost importance. Rockets are powerful machines that can cause harm if not handled properly. You need to follow all safety protocols and have a clear understanding of the risks involved.
In conclusion, launching rockets is an exciting and intricate process. It requires careful planning, understanding of the mechanics, consideration of weather conditions, and utmost attention to safety. But when done right, the feeling of seeing your rocket soar into the sky is truly unparalleled.
Hey there! Let me tell you something cool. You know how rockets are awesome, right? Well, guess what? You can actually make them even more awesome with this neat trick!
See, with this special effect, you can increase the amount of stuff a rocket can carry for one launch. It’s like giving it a superpower! But here’s the thing – this extra capacity only works for one launch.
Now, here’s where it gets really exciting. If you have two specialists who can do this trick, you can combine their powers and use them on a single launch. How cool is that?
Oh, and by the way, don’t forget about the mission cards. When you’re drawing them, make sure to keep this effect in mind. It could really come in handy!
When I play, I get to draw one more mission card of the level I choose, and put an extra card on Earth. If I have two specialists with this power, I can draw and keep up to two more cards.
When I send rockets into space:
Hey there! Let me tell you about an awesome new feature I discovered. You know how launching a rocket can be quite expensive? Well, I found this cool launch symbol that can help you save some money. When you use this special symbol to launch a rocket, the launch costs two dollars less than usual. Pretty neat, huh?
Let’s Talk Actions
Now, let’s move on to specialists and their actions. Each specialist has one or two actions that they can perform. And guess what? You can choose to do one or both actions, in any order you like.
But here’s the cool part: you don’t have to do any of the specialist’s actions if you don’t want to. Instead, you can simply choose to take two dollars. Either way, you’ll still get the banner effect, no matter what you decide to do. It’s your call!
Building the Space Station
Get ready for the grand finale. Investing in the space station is super exciting because each time you do, you get to add a new piece to the station. This creates a hub of research and discovery that benefits all of humanity, floating high above the Earth.
Now, how you build the space station doesn’t really affect gameplay. You can build it in all sorts of different ways, but it’s the journey of exploration and knowledge that truly matters. So go ahead and let your imagination run wild as you create this amazing station!
Hey there! I’m thrilled to tell you all about Labs. It’s this awesome thing that can make your life easier.
Now, you might be wondering, what is Labs exactly? Well, let me break it down for you. Labs is a special feature that adds extra functionality to a website or an application. It’s like adding superpowers to your favorite tool – cool, right?
With Labs, you can customize your digital experience. It gives you the power to modify the way a website or an app looks, behaves, and functions. It’s like having a magic wand to tailor things to your liking.
Let me give you an example of what Labs can do. Imagine you’re using a messaging app, and you want to change the background color to something that matches your personality. Well, with Labs, you can do just that! You can tweak the colors, layout, or even add handy shortcuts. It’s all about making things work better for you!
Here’s another thing that makes Labs so great – it’s totally optional. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. But trust me, once you try it, you won’t want to go back. It’s like unlocking a whole new level of awesomeness.
But remember, Labs is still a work in progress. It’s constantly evolving and improving based on user feedback. So, if you encounter any bugs or issues, don’t worry. The team behind Labs is always on it, making sure things are running smoothly.
So, how can you get started with Labs? Well, it’s simple. Just look for the Labs section in your favorite application or website. Once you find it, you’ll be able to explore the different customization options available. Play around, experiment, and have fun making it your own.
So go ahead, give Labs a try and see how it can enhance your digital experience. Trust me, once you start using it, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.
The higher your lab level, the more points you earn for each rocket launch. When it comes to phases, phase 1 launches earn more points than phase 2 launches, assuming the labs are at the same level. But there’s more. A higher lab level also gives you another advantage: the launch symbol from your lab can hold one extra rocket.
Objective Cards
Objective cards are special cards that can earn you points in the end. Each card has a set of conditions you must satisfy to score those points. The top of the card tells you what you need to do in order to earn points. On the right side of the card, you can see how many points you’ll get based on the requirements on the left side.
These cards are special because they give you points depending on how many missions you have in space.
This card is all about the level 2 and 3 missions in space. It’s important to have at least one level 3 mission card in space to earn points from it.
When you have five or six level 2 and 3 missions, with at least one of them being level 3, you get 12 points from this card. And if you have seven or more missions like this, you earn 25 points!
Hey there! Let me tell you about this awesome card that can help you rack up some points in a super fun way. It’s called the Space Station card, and it’s all about investing in the space station.
Here’s how it works: you earn points based on how many times you invest in the space station. It’s pretty cool, right? To keep track of this, all you have to do is count the number of rockets you have on or next to the space station track.
If you have two rockets on or next to the space station, you’ll earn yourself six points. That’s not too shabby, if you ask me. But wait, it gets even better! If you manage to have three rockets, you’ll score a whopping 18 points. Now, that’s some serious point-earning action right there. And if you really go all out and have four or more rockets, get ready to add an impressive 30 points to your score! Talk about a major score boost.
Have you ever heard of technology cards? They’re these awesome cards that can earn you points based on the number of cards you have in a certain color. It’s pretty neat, isn’t it?
This card keeps track of how many yellow technology cards you have. If you collect three yellow technology cards, you get three points.
If you have four to six cards, you earn 11 points. And if you have seven or more, you get a whopping 25 points!
Hey there! Let me tell you about this amazing card I discovered. It’s called the Point Booster, and it can really amp up your game.
So, here’s the deal: the Point Booster is all about upgrades. The more capacity and propulsion upgrades you have, the more points you’ll score. It’s a super simple concept, but it can make a huge difference in how you play.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Upgrades? That sounds complicated. But trust me, it’s not as intimidating as it sounds. Upgrades are just a way to improve your abilities and give you an edge on the competition.
Think about it like this: imagine you’re racing in a car, and you have a turbo boost installed. That’s an upgrade! It gives you a burst of speed and helps you zoom past your opponents. The Point Booster works the same way.
The more upgrades you have, the better you’ll perform. It’s like having a secret power that sets you apart from the rest. And who doesn’t want to be the best, right?
So, if you’re looking to elevate your game, the Point Booster is the way to go. With this card in your hand, you’ll be able to regenerate response and dominate the competition. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever played without it.
If you have a total of four upgrades, you’ll earn five points. But if you have five or six upgrades, your score increases to 15 points. And if you really go all out and have seven or more upgrades, you’ll get a massive 20 points!
The Game’s Conclusion
Once the game is over, it’s time to calculate your final scores. Here’s how it’s done:
To win the game, you need to earn victory points. Here’s how you can score them:
1. Look for missions in space that have an hourglass symbol. Each mission has its own conditions, and if you complete them, you’ll earn points.
2. Make sure to complete your objective cards. You’ll earn points for each one you finish.
3. Green technology cards are valuable too. For every green card you have, you’ll earn three points. And for every five money you have, you’ll earn one point.
At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins! But what if there’s a tie? Well, in that case, the player with the highest number of level 4 missions in space takes the victory. And if there’s still a tie, the tied players share the victory.
So, keep an eye out for those hourglass missions, complete your objectives, and collect green technology cards to boost your victory point total. Good luck, and may the best astronaut win!
