Lickety Split Game Rules
Today, I want to take a closer look at an exciting and speedy game called Lickety Split. This game is all about quick thinking and even faster reflexes! So, if you enjoy testing your speed and agility, then you’re in for a treat with Lickety Split.
To begin playing, all you need is a group of players and a deck of cards. The objective of the game is simple: be the first player to get rid of all your cards. But beware, this game is not as easy as it sounds. The twist is that you can only play a card if it matches the color, number or symbol of the card on top of the discard pile.
As soon as the game starts, everyone simultaneously tries to play a card from their hand onto the discard pile. It’s a race against time to see who can spot the matching card first and slap it down on the pile. The faster you react, the better your chances of winning!
But here’s the catch: if you play a card that doesn’t match, you have to draw more cards from the deck. And the more cards you have, the harder it becomes to find a match. It’s a double-edged sword that keeps you on your toes and constantly scanning for the perfect card.
As I mentioned earlier, speed is everything in Lickety Split. You have to stay focused, keep your eyes peeled, and always be ready to pounce on the right card. It’s a game that tests your reflexes and pushes you to react with lightning speed. It’s exhilarating, intense, and guaranteed to get your heart racing!
Overall, Lickety Split is a game that brings out the competitive spirit in everyone. It’s a battle of wits, speed, and determination. So gather your friends, shuffle up those cards, and get ready for a wild and fast-paced adventure. Are you up for the challenge? Let the race begin!
Let’s play a fun game called Find-It! Here’s how you play: all you have to do is match the pictures on your Player cards with the pictures on the Find-It cards. Easy, right? But here’s the catch – you have to be the first one to make a match in order to keep the Find-It card.
The goal of the game is to collect as many Find-It cards as you can. The more matches you make, the better your chances of winning. So keep your eyes peeled and be quick to spot those matches!
Remember, the player with the most Find-It cards at the end of the game is the winner. Are you ready to play? Let the Find-It fun begin!
Getting Ready
First things first! Let’s organize the cards. Separate them into five piles, grouping them by their different colored backs. The four sets with solid color backs are the Player cards. You and your friends can each choose a set and hold onto it.
Don’t worry, the cards look the same on the front, so it doesn’t really matter which set you pick! Any leftover sets can be set aside for now.
The multi-color set is the Find-It deck. Place the Find-It deck face down in the middle of the playing area and give the color die to the youngest player.
Time to Play!
When it’s your turn, flip over the top card from the Find-It deck and put it face up next to the deck. Then, roll the color die.
Now, get ready and be quick! Your goal is to be the first one to:
- Find a picture on the card that has the same colored frame as the color rolled on the die.
To play the game, you’ll need a set of cards with different pictures. Here’s how it works:
The person who plays the matching picture card first wins the Find-It card. They can keep it in a separate “Found-It” pile.
The game is simple but exciting. It’s all about quick observation and finding the right card. So, gather your cards and get ready to have fun!
In this game, you need to find a frog on one of your cards. All players grab their played Player cards and put them back in their hands. Each round starts with a full set of 12 Player cards. Once everyone is ready, the winner flips over the top Find-It card and rolls the die to begin the next round.
If multiple players play a matching card at the same time, a tiebreaker round is necessary. The person who just rolled the die gets another roll, and the tied players compete to find a new match. Keep rolling the die until a different color comes up. The winner of the tiebreaker round receives the Find-It card.
Once all the Find-It cards have been claimed, the game ends. Each player counts up their Find-It cards, and the player with the most cards wins.
For younger players, the game can be simplified.
