The Concept of Karma
Now, I’m sure you’re wondering, what exactly is Karma? Well, Karma is a belief that the actions we take have consequences, both in this life and in future lives. It’s like a chain reaction, where what goes around comes around. So, if you do something good, something good will come back to you. But if you do something not-so-good, well, you can probably guess what might happen.
How to Play the Karma Game
Playing the Karma Game is easy, but it requires thought and mindfulness. Here are the rules:
Rule 1: Be Mindful
The first rule of the Karma Game is to be mindful of your actions. Think before you act, and consider the consequences. Remember, every action has an equal reaction. So, if you want positive outcomes, make sure your actions are positive too.
Rule 2: Choose Kindness
The second rule is all about choosing kindness. Treat others with respect, help those in need, and spread positivity wherever you go. By doing so, you’ll create a ripple effect of good Karma that will come back to you in amazing ways.
Rule 3: Act with Integrity
Integrity is an important aspect of the game. Always strive to do what is right, even when no one is watching. Acting with integrity shows that you are a person of character and sets a positive example for others.
Rule 4: Learn from Mistakes
Nobody is perfect, and that’s okay! In the Karma Game, it’s important to learn from your mistakes. If you make a wrong choice, acknowledge it, and try to make amends. By learning and growing from your mistakes, you’ll be able to make better choices in the future.
Rule 5: Spread Positivity
Lastly, the Karma Game is all about spreading positivity. Be kind, generous, and compassionate towards others. Remember, your actions have the power to brighten someone’s day and inspire positivity in the world.

- Instructions
The Objective
Your goal is to discard all of your cards.
How to Play
The Cards: The game consists of three sets of cards, with numbers ranging from 1 to 16, and four unique Karma Cards.
Getting Started: Combine and thoroughly shuffle both decks.
Alright, let’s learn how to play this game. Here are the rules you need to know:
- First, the player sitting to the left of the dealer goes first. They start the game by playing a card from their hand.
- After playing a card, complete your turn by picking up a card from the draw pile. Remember, everyone needs to have 3 cards in their hand until the draw pile is empty.
Note: If someone has 3 or more cards in their hand at any time, they don’t need to draw a card at the end of their turn.

Playing Doubles & Triples:
Now, here’s something interesting. When it’s your turn, you can play 2 or 3 cards that are exactly the same. Cool, right? If you manage to play 3 identical cards in a row, something special happens. The entire discard pile is removed from the game for the rest of the time we’re playing.
These 3 identical cards can be played by one person or by multiple players taking turns. However, the player who plays the 3rd identical card gets to remove the whole discard pile and have another turn. They also get to start a new discard pile. Exciting, isn’t it?
Note: You can only play cards that are exactly the same from one location. For example, you can play two or three cards that are the same from your Hand Cards or your Faceup Table Cards, but you cannot mix cards from both locations.
Karma Cards:
There are four types of Karma Cards. These cards are like wild cards and can be played whenever you want. The rules for doubles and triples also apply to Karma Cards.

Pass It On to a Buddy
This cool Karma Card lets you pass the whole discard pile to any friend you choose.
You can even bring a buddy who had already dropped out back into the game.
Remember, you can only use this Karma Card once, so make sure to take it out of the pile before handing it over to your pal.

The Card with the Power
Now, here’s an interesting card: Five or Below. When it’s my turn to play this Karma Card, I get to make things a little challenging for the next player. They have to play a card that has a value of 5 or less. But wait, there’s more! They can also play another Karma Card if they have one.
It’s a bit like a game of numbers. You see, cards usually have values, and in this case, we’re looking for low values. So, if you’re up next and you have a card that fits the bill, you’re good to go. But if you don’t, well, you’ll have to come up with a clever way to get out of this tricky situation. Maybe you have another Karma Card up your sleeve?
This Five or Below card adds an intriguing twist to the game. It’s like a double-edged sword, a card that can both elevate the excitement and regenerate a response from the players. You never know what might happen next!
So, if you’re up for a challenge or looking to shake things up in your next game night, give this card a try. It’s a powerful card that can change the course of the game, keeping everyone on their toes. With Five or Below in your hand, you hold the power to create new dynamics and unexpected twists. Get ready for an exhilarating ride!

Playing a Table Card
Hey there! This awesome Karma Card lets you play a Table Card earlier than usual. You know, those cards that you usually play faceup on the table? Well, now you can play one of those bad boys before the others. But don’t worry, you still have to play all your faceup Table Cards before you can play any facedown ones. Gotta follow the rules, you know?
Now, if you happen to have a Play a Table Card in your hand but you’re all out of Table Cards, no need to fret. You can simply play another card from your hand instead. Options, options!
Oh, and here’s a little extra note: When you play this card, the card you play next can be any number you want. Yep, the power is in your hands! Plus, if you have a couple of identical Table Cards hanging around, you can play them all at once. Cool, right? For example, let’s say you have two 7s as your faceup Table Cards. Well, guess what? You can totally play both of them at the same time. Talk about a power move!
Bottoms Up!
When I play the Karma Card called “Bottoms Up,” I get to shake things up a bit. I take the card at the very bottom of the discard pile, where all the unwanted cards are hanging out, and I give it a new lease on life by placing it right on top!
Now, the next player must deal with this fresh new card that I’ve introduced. They have to play a card that matches it in some way. But, here’s the kicker: if the card I grabbed from the bottom is another “Bottoms Up” or a special “Play a Table” card, it’s basically like drawing a blank. Its value becomes zero, and the next player can play any card they like. Talk about a game-changer!
