Once my time is up, it’s your turn to think of words for the same letter and category. We keep taking turns until we can’t think of any more words or until we decide to stop.

Getting Started

• To get started, take out the card box and bag of tiles and put them on the table. If it’s your first time playing, you’ll need to press out the word tiles and put them in the bag. The background color of the cards matches the category color and should be placed in front of the dividers within the card holder.
• Now, it’s time to choose the first Jabber. They will have the honor of selecting their favorite story for the first round, as well as all the story elements. Don’t worry, though – everyone will get a turn to be the Jabber!

Ready, Set, Play!

Here’s how the game works: I get to be the Jabber, and I’m in charge of choosing the story elements. I’ll pick a Theme Card and three Picture Cards from the Hipster, Globetrotter, or Thingamajig categories. Then, I’ll grab three Word Tiles randomly from the bag. Next, I’ll decide which side of each double-sided element I want to include in the story, and I’ll place them face up on the table, so everyone can see.
