Fibber Game Rules

Hey there! Have you ever played the Fibber game? If not, let me explain how it works.

The Fibber game is a fun and exciting game that requires you to stretch your imagination and tell amazing stories. The goal is to trick your opponents into believing your made-up stories.

Here’s how the game is played:

Setting Up the Game

To start the game, gather at least three players and sit in a circle. Each player is given a set of cards with different numbers on them. These cards will be used to keep score during the game. Make sure to shuffle the cards and distribute them evenly among the players.

Playing the Game

Now that the game is set up, it’s time to start playing.

Step 1: The youngest player goes first. They take the top card from their pile and place it face down in front of them. Step 2: The player then picks a statement card from the deck and reads it out loud. The statement card might say something like, “I have traveled to the moon.” Step 3: Here comes the fun part! The player has two options: they can either tell the truth or fib. If they choose to tell the truth, they must say whether the statement is true or false. However, if they choose to fib, they can make up a completely fictional story to support the statement. Step 4: After the player has given their response, the other players have to decide if they think the player is telling the truth or fibbing. They can discuss among themselves and make their own judgments. Step 5: Once everyone has made their decision, each player places a vote card in front of them to indicate whether they think the statement is true or false. Step 6: Finally, the player reveals the truth. If the player was telling the truth, the players who voted correctly receive a point. If the player was fibbing, the player who successfully fooled the most people receives a point.

Winning the Game

The game continues with each player taking turns and making statements. The player with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner.

So, what are you waiting for? Gather your friends, grab a deck of cards, and start playing Fibber! Get ready to let your imagination run wild and see who can tell the best fibs. Good luck and have a blast!

Note: Fibbing is all in good fun, so remember not to take things too seriously. It’s all about having a great time and enjoying the imaginative stories that come to life during the game!

Your goal is to have the shortest nose among all players once every nose has been taken. Here’s how to set up the game:

Setting Up

  • Each player needs to wear a pair of glasses.
  • Place the Game Mat at the center of the table.
  • Put the Silver Nose on the Bigfoot space on the Game Mat. Arrange all the other Noses around the Game Mat, as shown in the image below:

  • Shuffle the cards and deal them out equally to all players.
  • The player sitting to the left of the dealer goes first, and then play proceeds in a clockwise direction.

Game Play

Hey there! If you’re the first player, let’s get this game started! First, you need to announce and discard your Bigfoot cards face down into the Discard Pile, right in the center of the Game Mat.

  • If you have any Bigfoot cards, just discard them and, here’s the important part, tell the truth about how many you have. For example, you could say, “I saw two Bigfoots!”
  • Now, if you don’t have any Bigfoot cards or if you want to get rid of some other cards, you can discard any cards from your hand and, this time, tell a little fib. Be creative! For example, you could play three Alien cards but say, “I saw three Bigfoots!”
  • Remember, you always have to discard at least one card every turn. No slacking!
  • Lastly, to wrap up your turn, move the Silver Nose to the next space on the Game Mat.

I want to tell you all about the game we’re playing. To start, the person on the left of me will say the name of a card and put it aside. Then, it’s the next person’s turn. The game continues like this, going around in a circle. We have to follow a specific order, which is shown on the Game Mat. First, we play the Alien card, then the Witch card, followed by the Dragon card. After that, it’s Bigfoot’s turn and finally, we play the Ghost card. This rotation keeps repeating. It’s important for us to take turns and play the cards in the right order. Now let’s have fun playing the game together!

Catching a “Fibber”

Hey there! If you think I’m not telling the truth about the cards I just announced, you have the power to call me out by shouting “FIBBER!”

  • If I actually am fibbing, I won’t reveal the cards I played. Instead, I’ll have to take a Nose from the table and attach it to my glasses. Then, to really make things interesting, I’ll take ALL the cards from the Discard Pile and add them to my hand. Sneaky, right?
  • But if I’m not fibbing, well then, I’ll gladly show you the cards I just played. And here’s the twist – the player who accused me of fibbing must take a Nose from the table and put it on their glasses. As if that’s not enough, they also get to snatch ALL the cards from the Discard Pile and add them to their hand.

No matter the outcome, make sure to move the Silver Nose on the Game Mat. And don’t forget, the player to my left takes their turn and plays the next card in line!

Playing with Wild Cards

A Wild Card is a special card that can be used in place of any other card. It’s like a secret weapon that can confuse your opponents and give you an advantage!

Getting Rid of All Your Cards

If you manage to discard all the cards in your hand, you can remove all the Noses from your glasses and put them back on the table. At the beginning of the next game, collect all the cards from all the players, shuffle them, and deal them out. The game continues with the player to your left, starting with Bigfoot again.

End of the Game

The Silver Nose is the final nose. When the Silver Nose is taken off the Game Mat, the game ends.

The player with the shortest nose is the winner! In case of a tie, the player with the least number of cards wins the game.
