Is the Code Correct or Not?

If it is, I’ll let you know how to proceed. You’ll get one or more new Riddle Cards that you can immediately look at by taking them from the pile.

What if the Code is Incorrect?

Well, that means you must have made a mistake. Try thinking about it some more and come up with a different answer.

Note: Whether your answer is right or wrong, always return all Answer Cards to the Answer Card pile. Remember, all codes can be logically solved – you shouldn’t just try all possible combinations on the disk.

If you’re stuck, don’t worry! The game has assistance options for you. For each code, there are three Help Cards that have a symbol on their back side, making them easy to recognize.

When you come across a “1st CLUE” Help Card, it not only gives you an initial clue but also indicates which Riddle Cards you need to have in order to solve the riddle.

The “2nd CLUE” Help Cards provide more concrete assistance in identifying the solution to the riddle.

If you’re stuck, the “SOLUTION” Help Cards will reveal the answer.

Remember to only use Help Cards that correspond to a specific Riddle Card or riddle in the book. Look for the symbol on the Help Card that matches the symbol on the decoder disk. Using Help Cards without the corresponding symbol won’t be of any use.
