In games that include the card YoungWitch, there’s an extra step. Choose one more Kingdom card that costs #image.jpg or , put its pile in the Supply, and use the Young Witch randomizer card to mark the pile (put it sideways, underneath the card). This pile is known as the “Bane” pile mentioned by the Young Witch. Any card that starts the game in this pile is called a “Bane card”.

You can pick the card however you want. If you’re using randomizers, keep revealing cards from the randomizer deck until you find one that costs “Adventures” or “Kingdom Card”, and use that one.

If you’re using the Trade Route card from Dominion: Prosperity, and the Bane pile is a Victory card pile, that pile will get a Coin token, just like other Victory card piles. And if Trade Route itself is the Bane pile, then all Victory card piles will get tokens as usual. If you have the Black Market promotional card and Young Witch is in the Black Market deck, put out a Bane pile for Young Witch.

In games that use the Tournament card, set the 5 Prize cards near the Supply piles. They are not part of the Supply.
