If you want to play a solitaire game of Dice City, there are a few things you need to do:

• When setting up the game, make sure to include one bandit card and one trade ship card of each value. These cards will always be available, so whenever you need to take one, just take the victory points from the supply.
• There are two modes you can play in the solo variant: normal and hard. In the normal mode, shuffle the location deck and draw eight cards. Arrange them in two rows of four cards each. For the hard mode, draw ten cards and arrange them in two rows of five cards each. These cards will be the ones you can choose from to build.

Whenever you create a location, don’t draw a new location from the top of the deck. Instead, at the end of each turn, get rid of the bottom row of cards and draw a new row of cards, putting them above the existing ones. This means that what was the top row becomes the bottom row at the end of every turn.

When you discard the last cards in the bottom row (after 15 turns in normal mode and 12 turns in hard mode), the game is over. To win, you need to have a score of 50 VP or higher. If you manage to surpass that, increase the score to beat by 5 VP next time you play.
