1. Let’s start by dividing all the players into two teams: the Blue Team and the Green Team. Next, we’ll randomly distribute all 250 Name Cards among the players.
2. We’ve got four sets of identities on the Name Cards: Purple, Green, Orange, and Blue. You’ll get to choose one set to play with. Once you’ve made your choice, each team will create a deck of 25 Name Cards using the identities in the chosen color.
3. Now, it’s time to make things interesting. Each team will trade their deck of 25 Name Cards with the other team. This swap will add some unpredictability to the game!

The Exciting Identity Round in Game Play

The Identity Round is an incredibly thrilling part of the game. It’s the round where I, as the player, get to show off my knowledge and skills as I try to guess the identity of a person, place, or thing based on clues.

When the Identity Round begins, I’m presented with a set of clues. These clues can be anything from riddles and descriptions to pictures and sounds. It’s like being a detective, trying to piece together the evidence to discover the answer.

Each clue in the Identity Round helps narrow down the possibilities, but the challenge is that the clues can be quite tricky! Some are straightforward, while others require a bit of thinking outside the box. It’s an exhilarating mental workout!

1. I’ll be the 1st Clue Giver, and my team will start. The other team should give me their name card deck and the Sand Timer.

For example: if the name card is Ellen DeGeneres, you can say “She’s a talk show host, she likes to dance, and she’s married to Portia De Rossi.”

Starting the Next Round

Put any name cards that were not guessed correctly back into the game box. Take the name cards that were guessed correctly by both teams and shuffle them together to create a new deck for the next round.

This deck of name cards will be passed back and forth between the teams until all of the cards have been guessed!

The Crisis Round

1. I’ll start by explaining how the Crisis Round works. The team with the lowest score goes first. They choose a Clue Giver, who will be in charge of giving clues. The Clue Giver is given a deck of name cards that have already been correctly identified. They also get a Sand Timer.

2. Once the Clue Giver is ready, they start the Timer and give a one-word clue for the identity on the name card. It’s important to choose the clue word carefully! You can try using a word from the clues given in the Identity Round as a hint. For example, if the name card is Ellen DeGeneres, a good clue would be “Portia”.

3. The other members of the team then try to guess the identity of the person based on the one-word clue. They have a limited amount of time before the Timer runs out.

4. If the team guesses correctly, they earn a point. If not, they don’t earn any points.

5. Now it’s time for the next team to take their turn. They follow the same steps as the previous team.

6. The Crisis Round continues until all the teams have had a chance to play. The team with the highest score at the end wins the game!

So, that’s how the Crisis Round works. It adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement to the game. Are you ready to give it a try?

When I guess correctly, you move on to the next name card and we keep playing until the Timer runs out. If you can’t get me to identify the name, you have two options: let the Timer run out or shout “CRISIS!” which gives my team a chance to guess. If they’re right, they get the point and the name card. If they can’t guess it either, you can put the name card at the back of the deck and move on to the next one. Just remember to use a different one-word clue if the same name card appears again later.

We keep track of all the name cards we guess correctly and put them aside. At the end of the round, we count up the points. Then it’s the other team’s turn to be the Clue Giver, and we pass them the remaining deck.

I’m the first clue giver on the other team. I’ll start the Timer and give one-word clues for the name cards that are left in the deck.

We keep going back and forth until we’ve identified all the name cards.

Both teams count how many name cards they got right (1 point for each) and write down their scores on the Dry Erase Score Pad.

The Game Ends

The team with the highest score wins!
