When you play a Trade card, you need to return the number and color of crystal(s) shown above the arrow K from your caravan to the diamond-shaped bowls. After that, you can take the number and color of crystal(s) shown below the arrow L from the bowls and add them to your caravan. It’s important to note that you can do a trade multiple times in a row, as long as you have the right crystals.
For example: Let’s say you have 6 yellow crystals, and you play a Trade card that allows you to trade 2 yellow crystals for 1 blue crystal. In this situation, you can trade 2, 4, or all 6 yellow crystals for 1, 2, or 3 blue crystals.
B. Acquire
To acquire a Merchant card, you first need to pay for it by placing any crystals from your caravan on each Merchant card to the left of the card you want to acquire. Once you’ve paid for it, you can take that Merchant card into your hand.
Note: When you get the first Merchant card, you don’t have to pay any crystals. It’s a free card.
Example: Imagine this: I’m Chris and I really want to get that fourth Merchant card, but it’s a bit tricky. So, what I do is I place one crystal on each of the three cards to the left of the one I want. That way, I’m a step closer to getting it.
C. Rest
Now, when I need a break, I just gather up all the cards I played and put them back in my hand. This way, I can keep building up my collection of Merchant cards as the game goes on. It’s like I’m shaping my own hand of cards, which is pretty cool!
D. Claim
