Components
Okay, let’s talk about what’s in the box. When you crack open this game, you’ll find a few things:
- A deck of playing cards: These cards will determine your fate. Keep ’em close!

Setting Up

- Each player takes a character card and the matching playing mat. Place ’em in front of you.

- Now, pick a player to be the sheriff, the lawman who keeps everyone in line.

Playing the Game

- On your turn, you can do three things: draw cards, play cards, or use your special abilities.
- Now, remember that sheriff? Well, everyone wants to take ’em down. The outlaws are trying to get rid of the sheriff, and the deputies are there to protect ’em. Who will you be?
- BANG! is the main card you’ll be using. It lets you shoot other players. And remember, don’t worry too much about the exact rules. Just have fun!
- Each turn, you can draw cards to try and get more bullets. Remember, the more bullets you have, the more damage you can do.

Dodge City is a bustling, chaotic, and vibrant town, but it’s also a dangerous place to be! Its saloons are famous, and so are the colorful characters who frequent them. With the city’s sudden wealth, troublemakers roam the streets, and shootouts are a regular occurrence.

This expansion comes with 15 brand new characters, which you can mix in with the original cards. It also includes 40 extra playing cards, which you can shuffle with the regular ones.
In addition, you’ll find 8 role cards, 1 playing board, and extra bullets, allowing up to eight players to join in. Don’t worry, the rules of the game remain the same as the original BANG! game. However, there are a few exciting additions:
Green Cards
Hey there! Let me tell you something cool about these new cards. See, some of them have a fancy green border. When you play these cards, you put them face up in front of you, just like the blue-bordered ones. Now, here’s the catch – if you want to use the effect of a green-bordered card, you have to take it from in front of you and discard it. But here’s the twist: you can’t use a green-bordered card on the same turn that you played it. Got it? So, these green-bordered cards are definitely interesting, but you have to plan ahead a bit to make the most of them.

When you look at each green-bordered card, you’ll see symbols that explain what it does. But here’s the catch: you can only use the cards with a Missed! Symbol when it’s not your turn.
Just like the blue-bordered cards, you can get rid of the green-bordered cards by playing a Cat Balou, Panic!, Can Can, or other similar cards.
Here’s something to keep in mind: if you pick up a green card using Panic! or Rag Time, you can’t use it right away. First, you have to take the card into your hand, then you play it in front of you, and finally, you have to wait until your next turn to actually use it.

Example 1: Imagine you’re holding a Sombrero card in front of you. Now, here’s the cool thing—you can use this card to your advantage during the next player’s turn. How? Simple. You just have to discard it, and ta-da! You’ll get a special effect.
Example 2: Imagine you have a Derringer card in front of you.
At some point in one of your next turns, if you still have that card in front of you, you have the option to get rid of it. When you do, you can choose a player who is one distance away from you, and they get a . Plus, as a bonus, you get to draw a card from the deck.
The “Discard Another Card” Symbol 
Some cards feature this brand-new symbol. It appears alongside an equal sign and other symbols. If you want to benefit from the effect(s) that come after the equal sign, you need to discard this card. And it’s not just this card – you can pick any other card from your hand to discard along with it.

Example 3: When you play a Brawl, you have to discard another card that you choose from your hand. It’s like getting rid of two cards at once!
Once you’ve done that, all the other players have to get rid of a card too. And guess what? You get to pick which card they have to toss out! You can even choose a different card for each player. How cool is that?
Here’s how it works: When you play a Tequila card, you also get to discard another card. And guess what? You can choose any player to give them back one life point. Yep, you can even choose yourself if you want.
More Cards to Keep in Mind

In this expansion, there are some cards that are the same as the cards in the basic game. They’re included to make sure that all the cards in the deck are balanced.
You’ll also find cards that combine the symbols you already know in different ways. Just look at the symbols on the card to see what it does.
Here are some important things to remember:
– If you have a card with the “Missed!” symbol, you can use it to cancel the effect of a card with the “BANG!” symbol.
– When you only have one life point left, you can use a Beer card to avoid being kicked out of the game. You can’t use other cards like Saloon, Canteen, Tequila, or Whisky at that time.

Example 5: When facing a Punch, you have the option to use the Dodge move. This move allows you to cancel the Punch and draw a card from the deck.
Rules for 8 Players
In this expansion, there are 8 role cards available. These cards replace the original ones and consist of 1 Sheriff, 2 Deputies, 3 Outlaws, and 2 Renegades. Additionally, the expansion includes a new playing board and extra bullets.
To play with all 8 players, first, deal all the role cards face down as you normally would. The two Renegades each play individually and their goal is to be the last player standing. As a twist, if the Sheriff is confronted by two Renegades in the final stages of the game and the Sheriff is eliminated first, the Outlaws emerge victorious!
Special Rules for 3 Players
In a game with only 3 players, use the following 3 role cards: Deputy, Outlaw, and Renegade. Randomly assign one card to each player, but keep the cards face up on the table. This allows everyone to know the roles of all three players from the start.

Let me explain the goal for each player in this game:
- If you are the Deputy, your job is to take down the Renegade.
- If you are the Renegade, your target is the Outlaw.
- And if you are the Outlaw, you need to eliminate the Deputy.
The game starts with the Deputy making the first move.
You win the game if you achieve your goal by delivering the final blow to your target. For example, if you’re the Deputy, you have to personally defeat the Renegade.
If someone else lands the final hit, the surviving players’ objective is to be the last person standing. So, if the Outlaw eliminates the Renegade, the Deputy doesn’t win – he now has to take out the Outlaw, who, in turn, needs to eliminate the Deputy to win.
But here’s an interesting twist: whenever a player personally eliminates another player, no matter their role, they get to draw 3 cards from the deck as a prize.
Since there is no Sheriff in this game, the Jail card can be used on any player.

Here Comes Bang! High Noon Expansion

In the Wild West, the Outlaws and the Sheriff often engage in intense shootouts.
As a player, you need to be prepared to face the Daltons, stay calm amidst the chaos of the gold rush, and exercise caution while navigating the eerie ghost town!
Components
There are 13 special cards that come with this game.
Game Play
When playing BANG! with the High Noon expansion, there are some changes to the usual rules. The Sheriff takes the High Noon cards and shuffles them separately from the regular cards. The High Noon cards are placed face down, with the High Noon card on top.
On the Sheriff’s second turn and every subsequent turn, before taking their own turn, the Sheriff reveals the top High Noon card and reads it aloud. The card is then placed in the center of the table, creating a “High Noon” pile.
The card on top of the High Noon pile is now in play, and all players must follow its effects until a new card covers it.
Keep in mind that the effects of the High Noon card take place at the start of the Sheriff’s turn, before any other actions are taken. The High Noon card remains in effect until the game ends.
The New Characters
Apache Kid has 3 life points and stands out as a formidable opponent. He possesses a unique ability that makes him immune to the influence of any Diamonds cards played by the other players. However, his power doesn’t apply during a Duel.
Belle Star has 4 life points and is a force to be reckoned with. On her turn, no card placed in front of any other player has any effect. This includes both the blue-bordered and the green-bordered cards.
Bill Noface is a character in the game with 4 life points. When it’s Bill Noface’s turn, he has the ability to draw cards. During phase 1 of his turn, he draws 1 card, and if he has any injuries (lost life points), he draws an additional card for each injury he currently suffers. For example, if Bill Noface is at full life, he draws 1 card. If he has one less life point, he draws 2 cards. And if he has two less life points, he draws 3 cards, and so on.
Chuck Wengam is another character in the game who also has 4 life points. During his turn, Chuck Wengam has the option to sacrifice 1 life point in order to draw 2 cards from the deck. He can choose to use this ability more than once during the same turn. However, he cannot choose to sacrifice his last life point using this ability. - Meet Doc Holliday. He’s got 4 life points. Here’s his trick: once during his turn, he can toss out any two cards from his hand for the effect of a BANG! against a player who’s within range of his weapon. And guess what? This ability doesn’t count towards the limit of one BANG! card per turn. Pretty handy, right? Oh, and just so you know, if you want to hit Apache Kid using this trick, one of those discarded cards has to be anything but a Diamond. Cool, huh?
- Up next is Elena Fuente. She’s got 3 life points, and she’s got a nifty little trick up her sleeve. Get this: she can use any card from her hand as a Missed! card. It doesn’t matter what it is. That’s it. Simple, but effective. Pretty nice to have that kind of flexibility, don’t you think?
- And last but not least, say hello to Greg Digger. He’s got 4 life points, just like Doc Holliday. But here’s the kicker: every time another character is kicked out, Greg regains 2 life points. Of course, there’s a catch. He can’t go over his initial number of life points with this trick. Still, it’s not a bad way to regenerate some health in a pinch, right?
Herb Hunter has 4 life points. When another character is eliminated, he gets an advantage by drawing 2 extra cards from the deck. If Herb himself takes out an Outlaw, he gets to draw a total of 5 cards.
Jose Delgado also has 4 life points. During his turn, he has the special ability to discard a blue-bordered card from his hand and draw 2 cards from the deck. He can do this twice per turn.
If you want to boost your chances of success in the game Bang! Dodge City Expansion, Molly Stark is a character you should consider. Molly Stark has 4 life points, and her special ability gives her an advantage. Whenever Molly plays or willingly discards a Missed!, Beer, or BANG! card when it’s not her turn, she gets to draw a card from the deck. However, if she discards a BANG! during a Duel, she won’t draw replacement cards until the Duel is over. At the end of the Duel, she’ll draw one card for every BANG! she used during the Duel. Keep in mind that if Molly is forced to discard cards because of actions like Cat Balou, Brawl, or Can-Can, those discards won’t count as voluntary. So, if you want to have an edge in Bang! Dodge City Expansion, Molly Stark is a character that will give you a boost by replenishing your cards when you need them most.
Pat Brennan is a character in the game with 4 life points. When it’s his turn and we reach phase 1, he has a special ability. Instead of drawing the usual two cards from the deck, Pat can choose to draw just one card from the game and add it to his hand. This special card can be taken from any player and it can be either a blue-bordered card or a green-bordered card.
Pixie Pete is another character in the game who starts with 3 life points. During phase 1 of his turn, Pixie Pete gets to draw 3 cards instead of the usual 2 that other players draw.
Sean Mallory (3 life points): During phase 3 of my turn, I can hold up to 10 cards in my hand. If I have more cards than the number of life points I have left but less than 11, I don’t need to discard any cards.
Tequila Joe (4 life points): Whenever I play a Beer, I regain 2 life points instead of just 1. However, I still only gain 1 life point from similar cards like Saloon, Tequila, or Canteen.
Vera Custer (3 life points): At the start of my turn, before drawing any cards in phase 1, I can choose any other character that is still in play. Until my next turn, I have the same ability as that chosen character.
