BACCHUS
Hey there! I’m here to tell you all about a party like no other, hosted by none other than Bacchus, the Roman god of wine. Get ready for the wildest bash in history, my friend! As one of Bacchus’ faithful satyrs, it’s my job to round up as many nymphs as possible for his epic party. Trust me, this is no ordinary gathering. Bacchus wants his party to be off the charts, so we’ve got to find those nymphs who look a lot alike. The more identical, the better. Can you help me make Bacchus one happy god by the end of this game?
OFFICIAL RULES
Let’s get things started by setting up the game. First, grab three random Bacchanalia Cards from the deck and put them faceup on the table. Oh, and don’t forget to keep the Kidnap Scorning Reference Card in sight. You’ll need it as a handy guide throughout the game. Now, take five random Maenad Cards and remove them from the box. We won’t be using those in this round.
First, I’ll deal each player a card. Make sure to keep it hidden from the others. This card will be the starting point for our hands. Then, I’ll deal the rest of the cards on the left side of the Bacchanalia Cards, creating five columns with fourteen cards each. The cards should slightly overlap. The top card in each column is considered the bottom.
Now, let’s shuffle the Action Cards separately from the other cards. Each player will receive three of them. The remaining cards are placed face down in the middle of the table. And now, we’re ready to begin!
It’s Time to Play!
When I’m playing the game, there are different ways I can move the Maenad Cards. I can use an Action Card to move them to one of the Bacchanalias. I can also add the cards to my hand. And sometimes, I even get to kidnap Maenads when I use an Action Card.
On my turn, I have a few options. I can draw a new Action Card and add it to my hand, which ends my turn. Or, I can use an Action Card to kidnap some Maenads. Another option is to use an Action Card to send Maenads to a Bacchanalia. But remember, I can only choose one of these actions during my turn.
If I decide to draw an Action Card, I simply add it to my hand and my turn is done. But if I want to move Maenads to a Bacchanalia, I need to choose the top two or three cards from one of the five columns, depending on the number on my action card. Then, I send those Maenads to the assigned Bacchanalia, as indicated on the Action Card I used.
If you decide to use an Action Card to kidnap a Maenads card, you’ll collect the top card with a Satyr from each column. Just make sure the Action Card you use has a Satyr symbol to kidnap Maenad Cards.
Once you complete your action, your turn ends. The game continues like this until all the cards are gone.
GAME OVER
The game ends when four of the five columns are out of Maenad cards. Then, reveal all the cards in your hand to determine the winner.

Let me tell you about a thrilling game called Bacchanalia. In this game, the person who collects the most Maenad cards of a single color gets all the points belonging to that color in each Bacchanalia round. It’s an intriguing challenge where strategy and luck intertwine. After tallying up their points, the player with the highest score emerges as the triumphant winner!
